Likes

The resources provided by the institute and the helping community by the students
The feasibility of the classes. Such as the attendance policy is 75%, so anyone can try out something they are interested in
The campus itself. There is so much to explore in the campus as it was previously a forest and there are a large number of deera and monkeys and many other wildlifes here

Dislikes

I don't like the fact that professors take the 10 minutes break between two classes and the classes happen in different buildings which we need to cover by our bicycles
I don't like the 8 am classes as it's like very hard to wake up and get ready for classes and sometimes I don't even get to have breakfast 😅
I don't like the fact that the marking here is done on a relative grading type rather than absolute grading type which I've been through my whole life

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum here, in this college is pretty good for the student.i would rate this curriculum and eight on a scale of ten.because it gives the students enough time to do even other co curricular activities.the exams here are conducted as once a month kind of frequency.and the exams themselves aren't that hard.one can score if he attends classes regularly.

Internships Opportunities

It's the same process as the placements drive, an internship drive will be happening for those who are in their 2nd year of degree process. The candidates should be preparing their resume in prior to the internships. And the candidates whose resumes are shortlisted will be giving test conducted by the firms they have applied for and those who pass the tests will be called for an interview.

Placement Experience

There will be placement drive happening for the 4rth year students here. It is conducted to educate the students regarding the process of registration and preperation for the placements. During placements the companies arrive on day 1-3 and the registered candidates who got shortlisted for the co pines tests can go through the interview round. The highest packages are around 1-2 cr and the average packages are around 15-20 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee here depends on your category on which you gave your exam.fee structure would be given at the start of each semester.and it would specify all the details of the fee.yes, the scholarships are available for the students.if applied and are eligible the students can get the amount

Campus Life

My overall experience in the campus is extraordinary.i got to meet many other people who are even smarter than me and got know about various aspects of life.there are our seniors who would help you in all the situations they can. We have alot of clubs according to the student interest like Dancing, singing, coding, sports etc. We also have fests and seminars

Hostel Facilities

There are many hostels to stay here.the first years or the freshers are given a seperate hostel and they keep on changing their hostels as the progress into their coming years.the hostels here provide a wide variety of facilities such and football, volleyball , basketball grounds, cricket nets.the washrooms are cleaned on a weekly basis and are kept fresh.

Admission

the admission process is a bit lengthy and time taking.yes, I have given an exam for this college which jee advanced for which you need to qualify in jee mains and the cutoffs will be changed for year depending on the scores and they will be uploaded in the official website of josaa.yes,there are added benefits for reservations which can give you the seat for a little lesser rank in the exam

The placements are still in offer but the amount of students getting placed are not called for job as soon as they complete the degree it takes a while sometimes more than a year . The placements are said to boosted again in 2027 to 2028

Vibrant Cmapus life at HITS: Academics, Oppurtunities and Social Engagement

Placement Experience:

We are eligible for the placements only during the 7th semester, we are given pre placement training, mock interviews and skill development workshops. Most of the recruiters at HITS for CSE are TCS, Wipro, Congnizant, Capgemini, IBM, HCL and Accenture, others include KPMG, Deloitte and EY. The number of offers differs from company to company. The highest package ranges from 12-15LPA, the average package is mostly 4-6LPA and there are alos slightly lower offering salaries like 3.5-5LPA. PRofiles that are most offered are Software Engineer, Data Analyst and Consultant. Almost 70-80percent of the students get placed and this may also vary across departments. Plans after receiveing the degree and if not placed are to pursue higher studies or build my own startup in the tech industry and build more skills side by side.

Placement Experience:

The Placements are way good than we expect. Students who join here will definitely have a good placement. The companies visiting PSG are mostly Product based companies . Some of the companies are Google, Apple, Amazon etc.. Many companies like DE Shaw attend our college every year. Many startups also visit our college. So students based on their prefernece choose the company they want and could attend the process.

I choose this college over the another colleges because it is the best degree degree over the BTech from low level or tier three tier four colleges, I was having many options for T3 colleges BTech CSE, but I chose this because I think it's the best I apply to SRMS Bareilly University all the colleges I was confirmed, but I chose this college because it was providing me latest curriculum and data science is very new in this. IIT Madras- the real place to be and live and enjoy

The candidate must clear jee mains and jee advances with a good rank less than 5k rank.one must also have secured atleast 75% in class 12 boards or one must be within the category wise top 20 percentile in his/her class 12 boards. The selection procedure have two parts if you have a JEE advanced roll number you're automatically qualified for the course but if you don't have you've to give a qualifier exam in which you've to score 40%+ in each subject and combined 50%+ to be qualified. IIT MADRAS- Heaven for engineers

For this college one need to give jee advanced exam which is the second hardest exam of the world . The application form is available online and it is very easy to fill up. But to qualify for this exam one need to get into around the top 90 percentile of the jee mains exam for a general candidate.
