Course Curriculum Overview

I had option of choosing naval architecture and engineering design in IIT Madras. Also I had a choice of taking EEE in NIT Trichy. I chose IIT Madras Naval Architecture because I had some interest on Ships and Construction of the Naval Sea Vehicles. Faculty Student ratio will be 1:8.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 225000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I am a 1st year student and I am not sure about the internship opportunities and stipends. I would get to know about it in the next year. I'm sure that there would be many companies that provide internships to our campus

Placement Experience

Students can become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Many companies visited IIT Madras and there were over 1500 offers last year. Highest package was around 2.4 Cr last time. There would be like 90-95% students get placed each year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees without any scholarship will be 225000. But if you avail any kind of scholarship your fees would reduce drastically. I got scholarship based on reservation for SC/ST students. My tution fees is ZERO. I have to pay only the hostel fees

Campus Life

There are many fests, clubs and events in our campus. Annual fest of IITM is Saarang, Technical Fest of IITM is Shaastra. Campus Life would be very fun and interesting with the other animals too like monkey deers and blackbuck. There is a central library in our campus and it has huge number of books.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is definitely good compared to the other colleges. Students can chose what mess they prefer. Meal and menu will be really good. I love the food provided here honestly. Hostel registration will be in the hostel itself.

Hostel Fee: INR 73000 per year

Admission

First you have write jee mains.. if you qualify in jee mains you'll be eligible to write jee advanced. If you get a good rank in jee advanced you'll be able to join IITs using josaa counseling. Seats in the counseling will be given according to your category.

Life and Difficulties at SRM University from honest POV

Placement Experience:

the placements start from third year. there are multiple oncampus companies that visited like juspay,zs associates, cognizant,accenture,capegemini and etc. the average package is aroung 5,00,000 the percentage of student is around 60-70 around this year but its still going on by this march.

The placements for me started from end of 3rd year itself. The highest package was around 8 LPA from Mr. Cooper with additional 2L bonus if you stayed for 2 years. Avg. package was 4 LPA. 10-15 good and decent companies visited here.

IITM BS DEGREE - a game changer in distant education

I choose this college over the another colleges because it is the best degree degree over the BTech from low level or tier three tier four colleges, I was having many options for T3 colleges BTech CSE, but I chose this because I think it's the best I apply to SRMS Bareilly University all the colleges I was confirmed, but I chose this college because it was providing me latest curriculum and data science is very new in this. The admission process for this degree is like if you will register in a term, you have to pay. Thousand rupee registration fee.
