- The course is only provided by two campuses IIT MADRAS and IIT KHARAGPUR.Only few people will do this course and I am going towards my passion.
Dislikes
- Things I disliked is some times the net flacuvuates and cause me irritation.
- Some areas are restricted and I want to visit them.
Course Curriculum Overview
In this curriculum there are so many experienced professors.They have 20 years of experience in this field.There are two types of job facilities one is private and other one is government.In this course we have so many opportunities regarding research and many.They will train us for the field work.They will guide us to the work and each professor will have projects within them and u can do under any professor.There should be more interacting sessions with the students.Every one should be taken care and everyone should be open to their professors about their doubts.The exams will be quizzes and end semester.The difficulty will increase by time to time.
Internships Opportunities
Actually till now I did not do any internship.Iam in my first year and most of the information was given to me by seniors.The projects are Antarctica and shipyard projects are there whic h are very useful for the students.The dockyard work will also be done.
Placement Experience
From 5th semester students are eligible for the placements.Different companies will come into the campus and placement will be done for 2 weeks.There are so many companies which visited our campus like Google, Amazon , Wipro,Tata companies etc.The highest package for last year is 3.67 crore per annum.90% of students are placed and some are doing mtech.I will join the Indian Navy after my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee will increase year by year.It will increase every year accordingly.The complete tuition fee will be 200000-500000.There are so many scholarship programs and events will be conducted.There will be exams conducted for scholarship and those who are eligible will get it.In the campus I had done the role as finance club leader for the event shaastra.I did volunter jobs for many NSS events.
Campus Life
Firstly when I came to campus I had roamed the full campus for three days.It is a beautiful campus with 500 acres of trees and wildlife.I found different types of flora and fauna.For us freshers party and each hostel will have their own fests.Overall Shaastra,Sarang are the best two fests happened in the campus.The classrooms are full of proper ventilation.Ppt presentation and fair boards for explanation.Good maintanence of washrooms and neat classrooms.There are 15 different types of sports in the college.Everyone can choose their favourite sport and try it.There are different grounds for different sports.Each hostel has their indoor games.There are different types of language groups,wellness groups and finance groups.
Hostel Facilities
In the hostel rooms two members are alloted to each room.They have wifi access and two large cupboards.Two bed carts are available and some rooms have outdoor facilities.The rooms are very spacious and properly ventilated.The mess food has very much proteins in it.They provide better food and there are 3 hotels in the campus.The registration policy is the mail mess registration.There are 10 messes so by mess preference they will get their mess.Even food courts are also available.
Admission
My name is P.Praneeth.Iam doing my b.tech in IIT MADRAS.Iam doing my engineering in Navel Architecture and Ocean Engineering.For this course to be registered first u have to clear JEE mains.To get into IITs u have to qualify the advance exam and secure a good rank.The cut off rank is 34, 000 AIR to secure this course.If u have any reservation u have to get the category rank below 2000.The whole Jee mains examination timing is 3 hours .For advance u have to write 2 papers in one day.After the result if u got the better rank u can apply for Josaa counselling.It will be held for 6 rounds.
Interview Experience
No I did not face any group discussion.I had wrote the written test got qualified and secured the seat in IIT MADRAS.In Josaa counselling in the first round I had locked the seat and submitted my documents and medical certificate.I was fully aware for these rounds by my cousins who had done this before me.They guided me very well and I had listed out my chance of getting into the IIT by my rank
