BS DEGREE ( DATA SCIENCE AND APPLICATION) BY IITM

Since data science and application is an online course offered by IITM all you have to have is apply from your phone or pc. Any student who is in 12th or above are eligible for this course. After applying you will get 4 weeks of contents. Study these 4 weeks content thoroughly and then you need to attend the qualifying exam after 4 weeks. If you are able to clear the exam then you are eligible to continue the course. You can find the application form at IITM online degree website. You will also get reservation benifits (the course broshure is available on their website). Scholarships are also available for ews obc students.

I was always into programming and stuff since I was not able to get good percentile in jee i didn't get to take addmission in btech cse. When I saw this course and it's curriculum I knew I have to do this. Since it's an online course so student faculty ratio doesn't matter they can teach few thousand student at a single time through online platform like zoom,etc. Instructors are good, there is a discourse forum for ever subject you can ask your doubts there. Factual is good. There professor and there intructors have good teaching experience. They take review from student about the lecture and try to improve them. Then are two in person quiz and one end term exam and in programming course 1 in person quiz , 2 programming exam and 1 end term exam. If you study well and are able to spend around 20-25 hours a week then you will get good score maybe even S ( highest grade)

Since this is a multi exit program. The course fee depend upon upto what level you want to study. For full BS degree the fee is around 3.5-4 lakh. If you belong to (ews or obc) with falmily income between 1-5 lakh you will get 50% fee wavier and if you belong to sc/st and (ews or OBC) with family income less than a lakh you will get 75% fee wavier. Pradadox is the name of our annual feast. Last year it was on May(on campus) and again on August (online). This year fest is named as Paradox in Margazhi 2023. We have acess to centre library and we also have acces to the online library provided to us by IITM. This online Library contain all the books related to our course. Since this is an online course, we don't really have a classroom. We have various clubs like music society, dance club, e sports club , etc. Each student of our course has been divided into house name after national park and then further divided into groups, so if they have any problem theuly can directly contact their group leader. These houses are run by students body known as upper house council.
