About SECE
Sri Eshwar College of Engineering, Coimbatore, established in 2008, is one of the finest engineering colleges out there in Coimbatore. The institute offers BE/B. Tech and ME/ M.Tech courses over various disciplines. Some of the salient features of the college are industry powered laboratories, start-up accelerators, and the college's own IT Center. The college provides a lot of support to the students in the form of Value Added Courses. Sri Eshwar College of Engineering Coimbatore Admission
- Admissions are strictly based on Merit rank for BE, B.Tech and on GATE, TANCET for ME, and M.Tech.
- For BC/MBC/SC/ST community of Tamil Nadu, the minimum eligibility is to secure 40% aggregate in PCM in 12th std. The candidate should also provide a community certificate signed by Tahsildar.
- For Other Communities, the minimum eligibility is to secure a minimum of 45% aggregate in PCM in 12th std.
- Candidate of Other states (other than Tamil Nadu) will be treated as Other communities irrespective of their true community.

- Candidates need to fill the form on the college website.
- The candidate has to register for TNEA counseling for UG and TANCA counseling for PG
- The candidate will be selected on the basis of merit.

Sri Eshwar College of Engineering has its own dedicated Training and Placement Cell which trains students in industry required standards. Training modules are developed by skilled content developers in which all the sessions are structured in such a way that the participation of students is given as much importance as the participation of the facilitator. Sri Eshwar College of Engineering does provide scholarships to students mainly under two categories which are SECE Merit Scholarships and SECE Sports Scholarships. Candidates scoring a good percentage in 10 and 10+2 exam are more likely to get Merit Scholarships, while candidates having a recognized sports certificate are more likely to get Sports Scholarships.

I applied to only sri eshwar college of engineering for course ECE amd got same course in couselling.Admission process is nothing after counselling gets overed Go to college with Counselling letter for admission.Along with counselling letter tou must carry 10th , 12th marksheets , aadhar card copy , Passport size photo of self , mother and father , if first graduate must have first graduation certificate ,community certificate.

Admission:
I was selected on slot 2 for Amrita, Coimbatore and Slot 3 for VIT , Chennai . Didn't opt for tjoae because of financial reasons. I was rejected from SRM , cause I didn't clear SRMJEE . Admission through counselling need A-level cut-off (180+) . Management seats can be booked earlier and Donation depends on the individuals board score . Management-Counselling quota is available here . Admission here is pretty easy if you have good to excellent marks .

First thing I joined this college is other college demanded for donation but in my college they considered my 10th and 12th marks and they didn't get any donation this is the one and only reason for myself choosing this college

I choose my college over others primarily for its strong reputation and placements which help me to get a good job for my career . The college offers specialized courses and electives that were not available in many other college s and univertsity. And this college also near to my home town so that I could go easily as a dayscolar.

I get the seat in this college through TNEA counselling where I preferred Sri eshwar college of engineering as my first choice of opinion as this college is really well known for their placement which is essential for me to be placed while getting graduated out of the college to grow in my career. I also applied other colleges like Sri Krishna College of engineering and many colleges along coimbatore region but Sri eshwar college of engineering is always been my first choice

- Faculty are very good and explains the concepts in detailed. Clears all kinds of doubts in the subject and gives suggestions to learn and gain good score. And also encourages in extra curricular activities such as multimedia, and outdoor games also .
Dislikes
- The placements are in a good number in the college but due to recession many companies didn't onboard the placed students but college didn't do any kind of help or informing students about the onboarding dates. Many students yet not joined.
Admission:
My admission process is based on my 12th class CGPA score and also they conducted a entrance test with basic knowledge on ourstudies includes mathematics, physics and chemistry. As I have a good CGPA in 12th they considered that.
