as the university follows choice based credit system , students can choose their intersted course available. the digital assignments and examination includes practical knowledge which includes application of concepts, the exam's difficulty level depends on the faculty.

Placement Experience

placement training starts from 5th semester. visiting companies are ICICI bank, deloitte , hdfc and other 40 companies . the average package is 3lpa and dream offer is 6lpa. almost all the students who are eligible and poses skills get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is 127000, the final year fees includes alumni fees and consolidation marksheet fees that comes areond ( 4720+1500), which totally amount to 133220 There is no merit based admission for arts degree in VIT, the mandatory criteria is 60% in 12th boards

Campus Life

VIT has 2 major festival Vibrance and technovit , vibrance is annual festival and technovit is technical festival. apart from this there are numerous events that happens throughout the day by different clubs, VIT also conducts sports premier leagues such as BPL, VIT has a huge library with vast genres.

Admission

I applied colleges such as SRM, MCC and the reason for choosing this college is brand reputation, their curriculum and other extracurricular activities. the admission process is simple 60 percentage above in 10th and 12th and personal interview with faculty (it mostly includes general questions)

The faculties are easy to approach and faculty to student relationship depends upon the individuals. the exam system in vit is different compared to other colleges, we have CAT1,CAT2 and FAT, CAT2 is open notes examination that increases our higher order thinking skills, and the marking system involves 60% digital assignments and 40% final examination. VIT follows choice based credit system

Night Life

VIT has two kind of gym - on paid basis and unpaid basis, paid gym is mostly crowded , there are many hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls , hostel rooms includes ac and non ac and mess food includes veg,non veg and special, hostellers are not allowed to roam outside of the hosel building beyond 9 pm

Campus placement is good in VIT we have some sessions in which speakers are invited to deliver a lecture about how to get placed. Highest package in b.com was 15 lakhs and average package is 8lakhs lakhs. my plans after graduation is to do a professional course and continue my journey.
