Course Curriculum Overview

3

The placements for the course are better than other m.tech integrated courses, the cirriculum for the first 1.5 years is not that related but the fundamentals and included and then the next 3.5 years include core concepts and also include practicals and frequent project submissions. The exam is not that difficult but we should consider getting more than class average that's it

Internships Opportunities

3

There is a senior i know who got intern in IIT he got a 15000 stipend, the internships are pretty good with minimum 10000 as stipend .the recriters expect good subject knowledge and the knowledge about the project done should satisfy them

Placement Experience

4

For my course there is internship opportunities in 4th year and in 5th year there's placement by top companies like wipro, fresh works, amazon, google, nokia, intel and more big companies. The college offers 75% campus placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The year fees for m.tech integrated (b.tech+m.tech) is 2 lakh Rs at the last class. The first class fess is 96000 and at second class its 1.5 lakh , and b.tech fees will be based on entrance examination called VITEEE it ranges from 1lakh to 8 lakh Rs. Coming to hostel fees .it is based upon the type of room taken (ac or non ac,4 or 6 or 2 bed) it starts from 90000 to 125000. 70000 to 106000 for food based on choice . Registration would cost around 1000rs

Campus Life

4

The campus is overall decent, the college conducts two main events techno vit (technical event) and vibrance (annual event) the events are pretty good and enjoyable. The library has a wide range of books and can be assesed by 20 to 300 people at the same time. All students must be in a club after the 1st year giving importance to socializing.Sports event takes place every now and then inside campus and also have volley ball and basket ball teams as best i know

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel rooms are pretty good and clean and room service is very good. The rest rooms are cleaned and maintained daily so the hostel enviroment is very clean. The hostel mess has the three different contracts all of them are okayish only ,neither good nor bad..

Admission

I did applied for some colleges other than this like sairam institute of technology and after i got accepted to vit I went here and abondoned the application. The eligibility for my course is higher education marks like 12th board exams and cbse board exams. A score more than 75% in pcm is needed to apply for the course. The eligibility for b.tech is entrance examination conducted by the college.

Faculty

3

Most of the faculties are friendly and easily approachable, the faculties are well versed in there subjects but not many of them are good with teaching but when asked with doubt they will give good insight of it. Coming to exam structure there are three exams (CAT 1,CAT 2,and FAT) in the weightage of 15 , 15 and 40 for total 100 and the remaining marks are obtained from class assignments and quizzes. The theoretical exams are all relative grading so you have to get more than class average to pass the exams the no of failing students range from 1 to 5 for a class

Night Life

3

The college doesn't allow outing for hostel students after 6 o'clock there isn't much places very near to the campus but there are good places like restaurants and gyms in the 20 km radius there is also dominoes inside the college itself. the hostel in timings of boys is 9 pm while for girls its 8 pm .the daily college in and out timings for dayscholars is 7.30 am and 7pm.
