Likes
- Commerce cours has an entire building as we have five division in B.Com itself.
- Seminars and industry people are called to guide us for placements and what all add ons do we need to learn to get a corporate job.
- Our fests is too good as otherwise college gate closed at 5pm but during fests it last till 10 pm.
Dislikes
- Dress code which is very wierd both for boys and girls.
Course Curriculum Overview
B.Com without a specialization will mean nothing today as even after that it is difficult to find a corporate job. Accounting though will always stay in picture and that's the reason I have chosen this because I don't want to miss out on it at any cost. I have already enrolled for some online courses alongside which were suggested by our college itself.
Placement Experience
P&G, Deloitte, KPMG, INTEL and many others have started taking interest in B.Com students as well. Placements though our of 400 it is still around like 100 odd students get placed from campus and with a salary of 30-40k around.
Fees and Financial Aid
For B.Com in Professional accountint at DR NGPASC the fees is one lakh a year and compared to engineering it is little high but our course too has similar opportunities like them. Facilities at campus are common and plus boys hostels are inside the college campus and it costs 1.1 lakhs a year.
Campus Life
There are three canteens at our campus and all of them are great and provide food at a very real price. Our sports complex and sports grounds are good it's just that the main ground doesn't have any grass and we play football on mud. Our hostels are in the campus so after college gets over and we can change and come to sports ground.
Hostel Facilities
There are three boys hostels at the campus and both the colleges students stay at the hostels like engineering and our college students. Rooms are good and each floor has washrooms and like enough washrooms that one don't have to stand in que.
Admission
At our college admission happens or merit like for each board there's a seperate cut-off. For students of State Baord the cut-off was 80 and for students who studied in CBSE or other boards their cut off was 90%. Total seats including all the branches is 400 for B.Com.
Faculty
When David defeated Golaiath our faculties were born as they don't understand lost history. Some students who didn't had a great background or even some science students who switched to B.Com students give them extra classes to make sure basic accounting is for itno their heads.
Night Life
Till 10 pm we can use all the facilities at the hostels as after that we can't as library or the canteens or even the basketball courts even though they have flood lights. Even in hostel we have to be in our rooms post 10 pm as we can't go to anyone else's room past that.
