Thapar is an expensive college with a total fee of 2200000 in 4 years. Mostly high rankers and high cgpa holders in college can get scholarships. A loan facility is provided inside campus through various banks inside campus like sbi and icici bank. There is 10% fee hike policy every year.

Lateral Entry Student in Covid

Thapar is really expensive I would say the prices are really high for a student to study in thapar as their education fees is more than 200000 for cse and hostel fees isn't that much for six months. There are alot of scholarships a student can have by getting a really good score in the year

One of the best college in india

The fee is very high here. As its one of the top-notch institutes, its fee is also high. Thapar is in the Top 30 best institutes in India, so this kind of fee is expected. There are scholarship depending upon the grades and on the Jee score.

My internship experience

TIET is one of the expensive colleges in India. The hike is 10% for every year. It is 2 Lakhs this year, next year it's going to be 2.2 lakhs and so on. If someone got admission in 2021, this course is gonna take him around 19 lakhs( for 4 years) and 14+ lakhs for 3 years(lateral entry). Scholarships are for the top 10% of people in the first year and then the percentage gets less. You'll have to be in the top 5-10% to get the scholarship for next year. There are no job opportunities in campus.

Thapar is a good premium institute with a nice placement records.

The fee is the major issue of Thapar. Since it is a premium institute the average per year institution fee is around 4 lakh. The fee increase per year. If I talk about my self I paid 1.8L per semester in the first year the 2.08 lakh per semester in the second year now I will pay 2.18 lakh per semester in my last year. The hostel fee is also expensive and it varies from hostel to hostel. But you can say that the fee is worth it since Thapar has a very awesome infrastructure and the best place for Thapar is the Nava Nalanda library. So if u can afford this much fee you should go with Thapar. Although Thapar also provides scholarships to 10% of their top students. It provides a full semester fee discount to its best students.

Short survey of Thapar university

Fees are high but if you see the quality of life on campus then it feels nothing. The total fee of my course including the hostel is around 19 lakhs. Yes, if you are in the top 10 % in class then you get tuition fees to wave off.

Thapar Institute of technology Patiala review

Like other private colleges, Thapar too has a fee structure which is difficult to afford for a fairly middle class family. But at Thapar , students get the chance to reduce the financial burden by opting for scholarships provided.
