Remarks

The admission process is based on JEE, and entrance tests. The application form is easily available on their website, all the details about fee applications and the hostel are available on the website. No improvement is needed to be done in the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I'm intrested to know how software is created and how can we some more user friendly and make my own. The faculty is amazing here in Thapar, but I can't define the ratio. They are highly qualified and some of them are done major from IIT's.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are available from the 5th Semester, and lots of company comes. Just start working on your skills and don't lose any opportunities either for an internship or for placements. Projects are also made on your own interests.

Placement Experience

Placement is from 7th Semester. There are many companies visited every year. The average package is about 5-6 lakhs per anum. Almost all the students get the placement. I'll pursue with MBA after completing my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is very high here. As its one of the top-notch institutes, its fee is also high. Thapar is in the Top 30 best institutes in India, so this kind of fee is expected. There are scholarship depending upon the grades and on the Jee score.

Campus Life

The campus is to big, and life here is great. Due to covid, no fest is conducted but many online coding events are always going on. You will find every single book you need in the library. Classrooms are well furnished with fully airconditioned.

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience

Honest is the best Policy
