Course Curriculum Overview

5

Curriculum was good. The relevance of the subjects and forces offered in microbes was great after being so much money. It was satisfied that every thing that I need based on my course requirements. So this was a very good point. The faculty was great and everything related to academics was very good.

Internships Opportunities

4

They provide you with summer intern opportunities in the third and fourth semesters, which you can opt for by filling out the Google form provided to apply for the internship, and if you qualify, you simply do it for the placements. It's like if you get one offer one fixed offer and you accept it, then you can't move with another of your opportunities that you will be receiving during your placement time, but if you have ongoing interviews in numerous companies, then you can complete the process in all of them. Also, there is a certain limit, like if you get, this is an example, only if you have received a package of four LPA, then you can apply for companies that are providing you more than eight LPA, so there should be some difference

Placement Experience

4

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is increasing by 10% every year. Placements could have been better in my batch. Not as expected, fewer opportunities compared to the number of students. Admitting too many students but not providing rnough opportunities

Campus Life

5

There was so many clubs and societies to be a part of whether it's cultural whether it sports or automobile or electronics, or mechanical. Every single thing you can get exposure to whether it's dancing. There are cultural events. There are talent events and there are ramp walk events, they also invited comedians, TED talk speakers and There was one or another thing going on daily in this semester. Once in a year there was a grand three-day event. Which was the best thing, every student approached to the whole year in that event, there were stars welcomed.

Hostel Facilities

5

So there were a lot of types of hostels like room types, single sharing double sharing triple sharing, usually the first year get into the triple sharing type of accommodation but luckily due to the corona period I for all the semesters opted for single sharing and I got it, but the price of these very single sharing is the most expensive out of all, and the accommodation is provided based on your CGPA andother factors they provide a form for accommodation type for the next semester and get all the imports based on your priority of what kind of room do you want and based on your CGPA availability they will provide you accommodation of the suit table tight along with the room type. There is washroom type as well like there, single rooms with attached washroom, single rooms with shared washroom rooms with common washroom rooms with attached washrooms. These are all dependent on the type of Hostel that you will get in that year, so there is a very premium hostel, which is usually for the fourth years students and the Art students.

Admission

This was the best ranked college that I was trying to get into. I did not so I had this best option amongst the others that I applied so I chose this and also it gives him men's exposure to students based on infrastructure based on curriculum based on subjects based on events based on every single thing.

Faculty

5

The difficulty was good academically. Teaching structure was also very well designed. There were two main exams one MST and 1EST plus there were sessions before MST and EST. Both the final marketing criteria was also good. It was divided well

Night Life

5

Because the college is situated in not a very big city, so there are decent number of clubs in the city. I didn't like partying very much, so I don't know about the nightlife, but inside the campus, it was in time of Hostel was eight 8:30 PM and now there is a toll gate where you scan your face while going out and coming back to the hostel to the college. In case you're late messages sent to the parents or whoever number you have given, otherwise there is no such thing if you're going on leave, just you need to mark an entry and go. The library is huge like it's a full four story big Library like you find every single type of book there it's a dreamy place for readers and every single Hostel has a gym. There's a swimming pool there a basketball court there, there are cricket nets there is football ground. There is an open theatre. Every Hostel conducts its own party every semester.

The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.
