Course Curriculum Overview

3

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum

Fees and Financial Aid

The student fees increases by 10% every year and the fees was about 2.5 lakhs in the first year and the hostel costs 1.75 lakhs without the food, which is kind of expensive if someone would ask me. The university provides scholarships to the students who score more than 90% in their +2 boards. It's 50% for 90-95% and 100% for 95% and higher

Campus Life

3

There are not many events or functions that happen during the whole year. There's a diwali celebration that's just for the people in the hostels. There's a cultural week where there are various events related to various traditions and culture in india. There's an annual sports event called the sangathan. And there's a dj night once a year along with a dandiya night. There are very few events in the University which makes it very boring at times

Hostel Facilities

3

The rooms have 24 hour electricity and water supply and centralised ACs which we can turn on or off at our own convenience. There was a water dispenser and various taps for filling water bottles. The hostel had a restriction of going back to the rooms at 9:30 every night and we had to write applications if we were sick to sit in the hostel during college hours The hostels are really expensive according to me especially since the food is not included in the hostel charges of 1.75 lakh ruppees (15000 security amount)

Admission

There is no such eligibility for the course anyone can take admissions into the course as long as the fee gets paid on time. There is a certain application fees which I'm not sure about but it was around 500-1000 for the form. The exams occur every 2-2.5 months in the form of mid semester exams and end semester exams along with a total of 6 surprise tests during the course of the semester There should be a minimum percentage for the admission of students into the course

Faculty

4

The students to teacher ratio is not a lot as compared to other universities which is helpful in a way as it allows more time for one on one interactions with the reachers. All the facilities are PhDs and very knowledgeable and they are very easily approachable and helpful. They are always available for help and never back out

Placement scenario is good and it is improving since then. TPO looks after this process and it is responsible to call comapnies to the college and discuss about the eligibility of the students who can appear for the placements. For internships, students in the 3rd year appear for it while for placements 4th year students can appear. The average package is approx. 8-9 LPA while the highest has gone to 64 LPA during my college duration. Almost all students get placement.

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

College does provide a decent number of companies to students to get placed but as per seniors Companies come with good package but students fail to grab them. Students are eligible for placement form 7th semester. As data given to us from t&p for this year currently the minimum package is 6 lpa and average is touching 8 but don't get excited it's just the starting months of placement season. My plan is to get a good college for post grad as that was my plan from the start ??
