thapar university honest review

i am a student of lateral entry coming from diploma side, usually, Thapar takes admission of lateral entry students on the basis of their own exam but due to corona, they took admission on the basis of diploma percentage.It is a good Engineering College and my senior from School suggested and he is also studying there. I have not prepared for JEE Advance and due to that I can't get a IIT. This College is better than many NIT's. Thats why I choose Thapar.

teachers don't teach here, you have to study on your own at the time of examinations, study material is also not good. on the name of study material they don't even provide notes the exams only slides are there.Our Curriculum and Academics are upto the mark that any Engineering college should have. About the Faculties, some are really nice and some are okay types. There are always ups and down in an Institution like this.

internships are nice, you will get 20-25 thousand stipend and the stipend goes as high as 2 lakh per month some of the good companies recruiting are Microsoft, Amazon, DE shaw, Goldman Sachs, adobe, texas

placements are decent here especially if you are from the computer science or computer engineering branch average package is 8 lakh per annum, i am planning to pursue higher studies like MBA or MTech after BTech.Placement is up to the students. No doubt college reputation can get but your resume is the one going to the company head. CGPA is the criterion to sit in a placement test but skills are the one that can get you a job.

a fee of Thapar university is one of the highest in the country in engineering, scholarships are very hard to get but campus placements are decent, average package is 8 lakh per annum, scholarship is given in first year Class Size: 200 Course Fees : INR 5000000

life on campus is like hell, and the teachers are the vampires of hell, they suck your college life like a vampire sucks blood, classes are air controlled, the library is of 3 floors where u can find even 200-year-old book sports Faculties are really good, we have synthetic athletic court, 5-6 Football fields, and Basketball Courts. Wi-fi is all over the campus with a speed of 120-150mbps. The library is really huge with 4 floors and a book containing 100 copies.
