inside campus walls

as i already mentioned that i did not liked this curicullum as there are very useless subjects being taught such as environment etc etc. there are many subjects related to computer branch that is why i choosed this course. it very well prepares for industry ready jobs so there's no issue. exams are held 2 times every semester and its reletively quite easy to get marks in these exams like if you start studing 1-2 days before then also you can top your exams

recently in one month there were companies like adobe jpmc, salesforce and flipkart that came for intership opportunities basic stiped for every company was nearly 1.5 lakhs per month and they did take many students. like jpmc called 25 students for code for good and salesforce too.

from 6th semester students are leigible for placements. here lots and lots of companies visit. even all these companies dont visit every iit like d.e.shaw,jpmc , morgan stanley etc etc. well d.e.shaw didnt made offer from last 2 years to our campus but its ok there are literally 100 of companies that visit. highest package last year was 54 lakhs as sde in morgan stanley. if you belong to computer branch then placement percentage is almost 90% but for other branches its 50-60%. if i did not get the placement i will be applying for software engineer offcampus.

this fees is per semester student activity and welfare-7500 medical fee-500 development fees 57000 examination fees-3000 tution fees-170600 fees doesnt increase much every semester its almost kind of constant and after 1st year you get scholarship based on the jee percentile as i had percentile of 96 so i gt 3 lakhs of scholarship and after that its based on cgpa you get every year nearly starting from 9.1 cgpa till 10 there is also merit cum means scholarship available in colledge if you want to apply but you will get only one out of merit cum means or merit one.

sat is name of annual fest conducted here and typically held in november every year. library is one one best and biggest in india so almost every book is available in library. classrooms are very well equipped with all the technologies like recordings and screens for 200 students class. every year there is thapar sports festival too where many colleges come for participation . there are literally 30+ active societies that are very engaging as keeps doing event . they have a big impact of students life even helps in placement through seniors of society.

hostel facility is quite top notch. room have a.c, study table, bed, almirah, fan and attached washrooms. mess menu is quite decent and it tastes better as compared to other colleges. its just you have to maintain cgpa for better hostels and its affordable as its 54000 for 6 months and all ac included.

i applied for lnmiit college jaipur . there i was expecting computer branch but did got electronics branch so i didnt went there.here in thapar it was based on jee mains percentile for addmission. computer branches were available till 89 percentile for punjab students and till 94 percentile for outside punjab students. so i had percentile of 95 so i easily got computer branch over here.

faculty to student ration is like decent one here. but relationship of student-faculty is best like as its very easy to approach teachers for any problem and they are very supportive i cant mention the faculty name but there are many teachers who are very friendly with students and few teachers are bad like you have to study complete subject own your own you just cant depend on them.

every hostel is equipped with gyms. and library is one of biggest for self studying in quiet environment. there are lots of cafeterias one of best is kravings where we have dominos, subway, moti mahal , barista etc etc. campus in time is 8:00 pm and hostel in time is 8:30 pm which is the worst part. there are no such hangout places outside campus which is a problems. its just that there are lots and lots of restraunt but cant consider it as hangout spots. its safe to roam late nights no issues in that.
