The faculties teaching here are all smart people who are foremost in their areas of research and teach with great inspiration.
The campus provides placements and internship opportunities for us, which helps a lot for us in building our career.
My experience with campus life at iit gandhinagar has been characterized by vibrant social interactions, active club involvement, and excellent infrastructure.

Dislikes

I don't like that there are only two mess which causes us delay
PLACEMENT over here is also not that great as cse branch had been introduced over here in the recent years
Some lectures such as World Civilization and Cultures are very boring.

Review of IIT gandhinagar.

Likes

Messing facilities os great at oit gandhinagar.
Hostels are well maintained and are have sufficient facilities.
Campus is very beautiful and is developed nicely.

Dislikes

Weather conditions can be uncertain at some times.
Some core Courses can be tough to clear.
The outlets are expensive compared to other IITs

IIT gandhinagar have a body called CDS, that is, career development service. This body handles communication between students and companies and conveys about the opportunities students can apply for. Every year nearly 80% students get placed and remaining students opt for higher studies.

My journey to IIT gandhinagar.

Likes

Sports culture and facilities are great.
Academic environment is really good even for poor students.
Hostels are maintained very well and js beautiful.

Dislikes

Due to its location, network connection is poor.
Weather conditions may not the suitable for everyone.
Location is out of the city and became a problem while going out.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had found interest in the engineering field and wanted to pursue it as a career path. IIT Gandhinagar has a decent faculty: student ratio of around 1:8. All the faculty members at IIT Gandhinagar are doctors and have done their degrees from well known instutes from all over the world. This they have very indulging method of teaching. Exam are conducted regularly and it's not tough toclear the exams.

The infrastructure of IIT GN is great and at the level of the other countries universities.
Mess food is really good as compared to other collages.
There are no hostle restricitions in the boys and girls hostle.

Dislikes

The placement and internships opportunites are less as compared to other IITs.
There is no gaming and esport environment.
They academic plan has to be better for more opportunities for the students.

Highest and Average packages vary in different IITs. Companies offer a wide range of profiles, inlcluding software developement, data analysis, consulting, and more.

why to take IIT Gandhinagar

Likes

The campus life is very nice .There are many places near to college to roam around.
The administration is very nice they didnt restrict students too much.
Placement opportunities here is at another level .

Dislikes

boring classes like in school life and boring proffesor too.
mid sem and end semester paper they take are quite tough.
food in the mess is not good we can take only for our living

course curriculam is very nice and it is not hectic . I did this course because of my interest and this college is near to my home town. FAculty here are highly educated and have good knowledge in the subject exams are conducted by semester wise

The course curriculum is the most flexible here Major courses are electives but the curriculum is hectic for faculty and is average in few courses most amount of HSS courses are there overall IIT in India

Best Campus Life you will ever experience, absolutely no restrictions inside campus and hostels.

Campus Life, Freedom, Students are treated as adults, Interactive learning experience, helpful faculty etc.

Coding culture yet to be developed, Students are not that serious in sports and other extra curricular activities

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The top companies which offered jobs include Google, Amazon, HCL, IBM, etc. Around 90% of students who registered and were eligible for placements got placed. The highest package offered was 62LPA and the average package is around 16LPA. I plan to do my master's at one of the top universities in the USA.

Life At IIT Gandhinagar

Placement Experience:

Around 80% of students got placed in my batch. The top recruiters include Goldman Sachs, HPCL, ITC, Adani, Infosys, KPIT, etc. The average package is around 21LPA. The highest package is 51LPA. The college makes us ready to face the industry through clubs, meets, and workshops.

We have many options from various companies to choose from, with nearly 110+ companies participating in the placement. The highest salary offer is 50 LPA, and the average earnings offer is 21 LPA.
