- The hostels are well maintained, neat and clean. each floor has a pantry equipped with an induction stove, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, and a water cooler.
- The sports facilites at IITGN are world-class. The sports facilities includes all indoor and outdoor sports. It also jhas an Olympic-sized aswimming pool.
Dislikes
- Mathematics faculty at IITGN is truly remarkable. They are not only experts in their field but also passionate about teaching and helping students grow But No. of mathematics professor is 12 which is less.
- Fests that are organized are comparitively less than old IITs.
Hostel Facilities:
In each hostel room (single room), there is a bed, a table, a chair, two tubelights, a fan, and an almirah. There is Wi-Fi connectivity, and in each room, there is a LAN connection. All the hostels are fully air-conditioned, with the AC operating from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am. On each floor, there is a pantry which includes an induction stove, an oven, a refrigerator, and a water cooler. The hostel rent is 17250Rs. At IITGN there are three messes which provides the good quality food, and the menu changes on a monthly basis.

- I like the hostels and the campus its very green and clean
- the friend circle, all of them are very different and creative as they belong to different part of India hence networking
Dislikes
- as the batch intake is very less there is not very club culture over here
- alumni network is also not that strong as the number of pass out is very less
Hostel Facilities:
hostels are great and top notch three sharing room for the first 2 years and mostly single sharing room in the 3 and fourth year based on the availability. there is 1 cupboard, bed table chair matress given bathroom are cleaned daily

- Hostels with AC and in the 1st and second year thare are 3 shearing room but in second year we can choose our roommates
- Mess food is. Also very good but south indian may faced issues with that becouse there are not dedicated South Indian food just 1 to 2 times in a week

- In academic college needs to improve strictness
- Very long vacation 3months summer and 1 month winter

Hostels main thing is hostels have ac wifi tablet chair and bed with mettress. Very good menu had many times paneer in a week for 3rd and 4th years students have single sharing room overall hostel facility are very good

- Liberal campus. People allowed to enter opposite gender's hostels freely

- Difficult to get student funds for cultural fests and activities
- Location of campus is quite off and far from city
Hostel Facilities:
Well maintained air conditioned rooms with pantries on each floor of every hostel and 5-6 washrroms and bathrooms on every floor. good mess menu with good quality and variety. Affordable hostel proces.

- Works on policy of Students first. Treats students as independent adult, capable and responsible for their own decisions.
- One of the top 5 institutes in india for research. Great professors with great connections.
Dislikes
- Too much focus on courses and academic load is too high which sometimes is too much for students to get into other things.
Hostel Facilities:
The hostel facility here is probably the best in engineering colleges in india. The hostels feel like hotel room with good and clean bathrooms. 24*7 hot water, air conditioning at night and spacious corridors. The mess meal is the best. It is diverse and feels like a meal cooked at home. The best thing is the mess menu changes every month so you don't get bored.

- Liberty provided to students. One can roam where ever they want in the campus
- Reasonably big campus with brand new facilities
Dislikes
- Hectitc schedule that almost all students have throught their program duration
Hostel Facilities:
Hostel facility, we have hot water available at our taps 24/7. As our college is newly constructed, all the rooms and other facilities are in good condition. Every floor in hostels will have their own pantry area consisting of a fridge, microwave oven, induction stove, sink (with hot water supply).
Likes
- The campus environment. It is a very environmental friendly place with lush green trees.
- Campus Life is very vibrant. Fests, and events are conducted timely with students involvement.
Dislikes
- I think internship opportunities should be offered more for every branch students.
- Mess does not provide non vegetarian food for free.
Hostel Facilities:
Rooms are fully furnished with beds, study tables and chairs, equipped with air conditioners and fans. Mess food is also good, it is prepared by high rated chefs and a lot of variety of items are provided. Registration is done at the starting of the semester and from second year we can chose the hostel, floor and the roomate. From 3rd year we have single rooms. I did not rent any room or PG.

- I liked the courses here and teaching by faculty.
- I also liked extracurricular activities like clubs and fests.
Dislikes
- Mess is a little less spicier even though it is diverse.

Hostel Facilities:
My hostel is a girls hostel called Chimair, which is within the campus. As we are from 2nd year, we have 2 person shared room. We have a separate mess for all the meals and snacks. The food quality is very good and the food is diverse, we have all types of dishes. Hostels are very neat and we have a pantry each floor where we get access to drinking water, oven and induction stove and a fridge. Registration for hostel is all done by the college. Washrooms are cleaned always and neat. Rooms have AC. Overall the hostel accommodation and mess is very good.

- I like the college atmosphere because there is a lot greenary in college.
- I like the hostel rules in which they gave freedom
Dislikes
- I don't like the food in hostel because it doesn't taste good.
Hostel Facilities:
In one room we stay 2 members. We stay in hostels. Hostel facilities are good but coming to the menu we it will be good on some days and bad on other days. We people eat more spicy but here there will not be.
Likes
- I like the curriculum at IIT Gandhinagar which is very flexible. Here you can explore courses of all the branches.
- I love the facilities which include hostels and sports facilities and many other student run organisations, which include technical and cultural fests.
Dislikes
- The placements here at IIT Gandhinagar are very less compared to other IITs.
- I don't like some of the compulsory courses which are offered at the institutes, which include history and social science courses.
Hostel Facilities:
The hostel facility at IIT Gandhinagar is far more better than many IITs and many engineering colleges in India. The hostels are equipped with air conditioning and the mess food is 5 star rated by fssai India. In the first year the room allocation is random and in the upcoming years you can choose your roommates and room based on your preferences. The registration process for hostel is very streamline and you don't have to take any stress about that.

- Apart from IIT Jodhpur, IIT Gandhinagar is the only IIT that has air-conditioned hostel rooms.
- There are no restrictions on boys and girls visiting each other's hostel.
- The hostels provide basic electrical appliances like a fridge, an oven, a water cooler, and an induction stove on every floor.
- IIT Gandhinagar hostel rooms are well-designed with large single and double rooms comprising basic amenities like a desk, a chair, a bed, a fan, and a cupboard.
- Students have access to warm water at any time of the day.
- There are a wide variety of eateries like Amul Store, Tea Post, Sainath Canteen, Dawat Canteen, Grocers, General Store, Mahavir Healthy Foods, Anytime Snacks, and a salon operating in the hostel buildings.

- There is a provision of a fridge, oven water cooler and an induction stove on every floor.
- The hostels are well designed whether it’s a single bedroom or double bedroom the rooms are much larger. Also, each student is allocated an almirah, chair, and cupboard along with the bed.
- With the help of solar power, warm water is available at any time.
- Various types of canteen, food, grocery, and other essential shops are available nearby where you can buy your essential items you don’t have to move outside the campus for that.
- Drinking water facilities are tested every day.
- Basketball, volleyball and badminton courts are next to the hostels only.
- A student lounge is also available near the hostel area with facilities for various indoor games.
Talking about the mess facility the food is cooked in very hygienic condition. At the mess, veg, non-veg, and Jain food are cooked separately. There are 2 mess halls on the campus. You can eat at the mess and if you don’t want to eat at the mess then you will have to pay separately. The charges of the food are very less and reasonable.
The taste of the food at the mess is nice. Since the food is hygienic as well. But it depends upon your likings. The food is healthy. The menu is prepared by taking all the suggestions and opinions of the students. The menu consists of a variety of food and you will not get bored by the food. Overall you don’t have to worry about the campus.
