IIT Gandhinagar Scholarship 2025: Amount, Eligibility, Selection Criteria

IIT Gandhinagar offers a variety of scholarships and financial aid options aimed at supporting students from different backgrounds. Fees and Financial Aid:

In IIT Gandhinagar, for the regular MSc per semester fee INR 62,750, then per year it will be INR 1,25,500. For B.Tech. students, it is INR 1,52,750 per semester. For the MSc, per-semester fees are INR 19,150, hostel fees are INR 19,600, and mess and laundry fees are INR 24,400. If you have SC, ST, or PWD with a 40% disability category, then you are eligible for a tuition fee waiver (i.e., INR 10,000 less you pay).

The fee structure is uniform for each semester we paid 46588/- which includes all hostel, mess, laundry and management, with waiver of tution fees of 10000/-. Normally the fees is 56588/- per semester for general category.

From Campus Life to Academics: My insights into IIT Gandhinagar

For the first semester, student need to pay Rs. 1,59,338. This includes tution fees of Rs. 1,00,000, Mess and laundry charge of Rs. 21,0000, and hostel rent of Rs. 17,250, other allied charges of Rs. 8,338 and one-time admission fee of Rs. 12,750. For all other semester the admission fee is not included which make a total of Rs. 1,46,588.

In first year we have to pay 1,59,338 which is total fees you have to pay which includes everything 1 lakh is tution fees and59,338 includes your hostel, mess, laundary charges. College provide scholarship criteria on tution fees for family income less than 2.5 lakh give resumption from 1lakh and whose b/w 2.5-5lakh is given 2/3 resumption of 1 lakh.

IIT Gandhinagar: Is a second-gen IIT worth it

The fee structure at iit gandhinagar for an open category student is 3 lakh rupees per year which amounts to around 1.5 lakh per semester. Out of this, 1 lakh is the tuition fee, which the remaining covers hostel, mess and laundry services. Additionally the caution deposit is 5000 which is refundable upon graduation. For SC/ST students a full waive of the tuition fee is granted. For students of other categories with parental income between 2.5 lakh and 5 lakh per annum, a two thirds waiver of the tuition fee is provided. Students whose parental income is below 2.5 lakh receive a full tuition fee waiver.

Total fees of 1 year for a m.sc. student is 113000. It includes tution fees of 20000, hostel rent of 34500, mess and laundary fees is 42000, and other alied charges is 16600. and for 1st sem we have to pay additional addmissiin fees of 10000. For SC\ST students there is no tution fees. and there is tution fees waiver for students whose parental income is less than 2.5 lacs.

tution fess is 2,00,000 per year and in addition to that there is 1,00,000 fees for hostel mess and laundary, for category student the tution fees is waived off like for sc/st and pwd it is fully waived off irrespective of annual income where as in case of others it is waived off in 2 forms one is if family income is less than 2,00,000 and then it is fully waived off and its in between 2,00,000 to 8,00,000 then its waived offed 2/3 and if its above 8,00,000 then no waiver
