How are the hostels at IIT Gandhinagar?

Hostel rooms are very good at IIT Gandhinagar. There are single, double, and triple shearing rooms as well. In rooms, there is one bed, one table, a chair, and an almirah for each student. In the rooms, there are fans and AC. Mess food is very good in taste and hygienic.

The hostel facility is very good as compared to other institute for first year you need to share your room with roomates but from next year you are provided with your single personal room. each room has bed with mattress, fan, tables chair, night lamp, cupboards,shelves and AC. The campus have common mess there are three mess which is being allocated to you every semester as per your reference form. The mess food id great with every month there is change in menu and try to include all the dishes from all parts of country so that you do not feel left out.

Institute's hostels are modern, spacious, and designed to provide a comfortable living experience for students. each room come with essential furniture such as bed, mattress, study table, chair, and a wardrobe. Rooms are air-conditioned and accessed to high speed internet, supporting academic and personal needs. Each hostel has common rooms with seating arrangements for group activities. The mess at IIT provides hygienic and nutritious meals, catering to diverse taste of students. The menu includes a balanced diet with a variety of taste from all over India.

Hostel facility are first class but from this side year due to increase in number of ug as well as pg students the first year students are living in four sharing which is quite congested. But all other facilities like ACs and WiFi and hygienic toilets and washrooms sometimes overcome these problems.

Hostel rooms has ACs which will operate only on nights. For 1st year 1room==4 students. Meal quality is very good the messes in IITGN are 5 star certified fssai. Which are present near the hostel area.
