UG Courses
PDEU School of Technology admissions in courses like B.Tech in different fields like CSE, EE, CE, Petroleum engineering and many more.
Eligibility: Candidate should have completed 12th class with minimum 45% marks and 40% for reserved categories having PCM as compulsory.
Along with above, a valid score card of JEE MAIN is also required.
PG Courses
PDEU SOT also offers admission in courses like M.Tech in specific fields.
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in B.E or B.Tech with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in relevant specializations.
In addition, there are two phases of taking admission in M.Tech.One being having qualified GATE and other being non-GATE.
- Those who have qualified GATE scores, their weightage will be like– 30% GATE score + 70% on Personal Interview.
- For non-GATE and candidates who did not get admission in GATE scores can also apply. It is measured as – 70% weightage on Personal Interview. Then the merit list is prepared.
For Ph.D. Program
PDEU School of Technology also has Doctoral programs related to specific fields.
Eligibility: Candidate should have done their M.E / M.Tech/ M.Sc. / M.Sc. (Tech) with minimum 55% marks (50% for reserved category) from any recognized university.
PDEU School of Technology Placements
PDEU SOT provides job opportunities via ‘placement cell’, where all students undergo training to appear in an interview process of a company.
Also, PDEU SOT has been an active participant and collaborated with international Universities through MOUs like from Oklahoma, Washington, University of Houston and many more. These collaborations help in the summer exchange program and co-operation in active participation by students in getting new experiences.
Some of the prominent companies visited the School of Technology are Adani Gas Ltd., PVCL, Reliance Industries Ltd., Infosys, HP Industries, N.K Enterprise, etc. The B.Tech students get an opportunity in the period of the third year to do internships in leading organizations to learn industry operations.

PDEU School of Technology University Scholarship
The University offers various scholarships to the B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. students to promote education at a higher level.
Merit-cum-Means Scholarship and Financial Aid
- The students will get 50% of the tuition fee in the second academic year for the B.Tech program.
- To continue availing the scholarship in the B.Tech program, the income from all the sources should be up to INR 6 Lakhs.
- The students in the M.Tech program are entitled to the scholarship with a valid GATE score (amount-12,400 as a fellowship). To continue availing the scholarship, the candidate must have cleared his/her semester at the first attempt.
- The Ph.D. scholars are entitled to INR 25,000 for first two years and INR 30,000 per month as a research fellowship. To continue the scholarship, the students must maintain good academic record, discipline and other rules prescribed by the University.

- The campus is pretty good. It has modern infrastructure and good research facilities.
- Seniors are very supportive and friendly to freshmen. There is no chance of raging.
Dislikes
- Some faculties are so rude. They don't get liberal with students.
- Attendance is very important in my college. College is very serious about attendance.
Admission:
I also applied to Nirma University. I got there admission in the Electronics and Communication department, but I want admission in computer science, so I chose Pandit Deendayal Energy University over Nirma University. I also applied for NITs, but admission criteria of 75% in boards got me rejected. In my college, you can get admission through online mode. The eligibility criteria is changed every year, so you have to check the official website for eligibility. Our college accepts the Jee main score and the Gujaratcet score, and you can get admission through ACPC counselling.

- They are taking many international students and indian students
- Not giving attendance for attending club activities

I applied for MSU but did not get admission in it due to high level of reservation for backward classes leaving less than 20 seats for general category. So my second option was this college and I am enjoying here

Admission:
Application and admission process is besad on the acpc and jee .the 50% seats based on acpc and 50%is based on jee.NIR seats also available in college.the rank in acpc is very high around 23000 is not good
Likes
- Infrastructure is huge and have facilities like water drinking, washrooms on each floor, campus has amenities for medicines, snacks and stationery.
- Rooms have big seating capacity and 4 air conditioners.
Dislikes
- Management is very slow. And they send mail for fees before 1 month of the beginning of the semester. No assitance is provided, you have to pay it in full before the deadline.
- Scholarships are given to only those whose family income is less than 7Lpa. If you are scoring high then there's no benefit for you!
Admission:
Everything is available at official website of the institution. I applied through ACPC based on GUJCET and 12th Score. My rank was around 10000. There are 3 rounds out of which I got selected in 1st round. The semester is of 6 months, 4 months teaching, half month exams and rest vacation.

- The environment of the college is peaceful and very active.
- The facilities provided are up to the mark.
Dislikes
- Less creative students and most students only focus on getting a good CGPA.
Admission:
Admission is done through JEEmains and GUJCET exams (optional). The process is smooth and efficient. There were no difficulties for admission. The site functions well and the staff is available for enquiries.

- The placement ratio is also very good
Dislikes
- The attendance rule is 80% and the university is very strict regarding to the attendance rule.
- The timing of college is very unfit for the students who want to explore the other fields and develop their co-curriculum.
Admission:
The eligibility of the course is that one should have passed the board exam and should have appeared for either DASA (for NRI students only), JEE or GUJCET. The students who are willing to get admission through the score of Board+GUJCET(ACPC) should list the college in ACPC choice filling and the students who are willing to take admission through JEE or NRI quota should fill up the admission form available on the official website of the university. For the year 2022, the fee for the application for admission was Rs 1000 only. The overall admission process of the college is very good.

- The most disliked think is they does nof give you gap betweens exams

The admission process is so much good it goes on step-wise with merit rank. On the basics of merit rank all the students get admitted In my city I find the poster advertisement for this college. Ya, they have reservations for sc, st, and obc. You have min 60% in the 12th board and about 91%ile in jee main for cs branch and 80%ile min for the mechanical branch.

I took admission through jee so there was no hold the seat and float between branches option for me either I had to take this seat or reject it to go into further rounds. I suggest applying through acpc.

Admission:
If outside state JEE Mains is required, Home State Gujarat you can apply on both bases GUJCET and JEE Mains. 50% of seats are reserved for Gujrat State students. The application will be available at the time of admission on pdpu.ac.in, the application form fee is INR 1100, application dates vary from year to year after covid but remain some around jee result declaration. All Reservations of General. OBC, SC, ST are availaible. 50% Gujarat state quota should be removed to invoke more talent.

The admission process is done by the Gujarat government I have got jee, Jee advance for this admission In Gujarat rank for admission, I got 7000 something rank to get some admission There is a reservation but I don't need it I got pdpu in an electrical engineering course
