I feel so proud to be here and the faculty are just superb and awesome.
Thd placement in my college is pretty good in my branch the average package is ruppees 2500000 per annum many of big companies like microsoft, atlasian, amazon, google, wipro etc visits here for giving good placements
Even if bit mesra is a gift but still the fee structure is slightly more than other gifts on the other hand category scholarship, state scholarships and merit cum scholarships are also there for good and bright students.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is very bad they are very rude they don't listen to anyone else.
The mess fees quality is very bad and students prefer to eat outside
Some faculty members are very educated and experienced but some of them have absolutely no knowledge they have just got the degree are just there to disturb students.

Large campus with good fresh air and environment
Lab facility is very good here and the classroom
Friend circle is good and supportive for me

‘BIT MESRA’ The very best GFTI

Likes

Good infrastructure and well furnished classrooms
Lush green Campus and good weather round the year in Campus

High fees for most of the middle class students

The course is quite relevant and the course structure is very good. The course also prepares us for the real-world applications as they teach us to how to apply the course curriculum in real life.The course should also consist of some interesting topics that may make the curriculum a bit fun.The exam are conducted twice a semester

I really liked the ambience and how huge this college is .
There is a lot of Greenery in the collge.

Dislikes

Hostel Timing , Girls hostel have a timing till 9:00 PM
Library is not opened 24x7 and moreover there is no night canteen

Placement Session begins in the 7th semester. Placement Percentage is around 84%. Tech Companies offer the highest of packages. Companies like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, and Atlassian visit here. For Core people prepare for GATE.

ALL ABOUT BIT MESRA

Likes

I liked the infrastructure of labs and academic block a lot here.
The campus life is also good as a big campus is there. If you are feeling low then go to the river side and sit for a while it will give you back your energy.
Faculties of mechanical department are really cool and chill and have a positive approach towards students.

Dislikes

I didn't like the in time rule of 9pm for girls.
The faculties of ECE department. They have made life hell for the ECE and EEE students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In first year we have to study all the branches of engineering superficially and I find that kind of irrelevant to some extent. 3rd semester onwards core engineering subjects will be introduced and more core labs will be there which will be more relevant and interesting to give time in. In mechanical engineering subjects becomes a lot more interesting from 3rd semestera and the labs are also very well maintained and have useful machineries.

EEE department is the one of the best and oldest department in the campus and it's placement are nice with average package of 11 lpa and the professors are so good. They are not the old type . It's a circuital branch

BIT MESRA-MORE OVER A TRUSTED REVIEW

Likes

The campus life is so good here. You will be loving the nature and weather here..
There are many places to visit near BIT MESRA, which includes the waterfalls
The placememts in BIT MESRA are so good, but you need to work for that

Dislikes

The Administration Department of BIT MESRA is so rude. They cant complete your worl in single go
For girla, it would be there is intime for girls hostel that is 9 PM
Mess foor for sure , its not that bad but stilll thay can improve the quality of food

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are so good in BIT MESRA as compared to other NIT's. The average placement of CSE Branch in k'22 was 22 lakh per annum, where as the highest was of 58 lakhs. Atlassian visits for the intership nd give students a PPO of 84 LAKHS . 5 students gathered the placment after getting PPO in BIT MESRA.

BIT Mesra : Amazing Placement and Vibrant College Life

Likes

Placement opportunities are very nice in this college.
The clubs are based on various interests.
The campus life is very vibarant and there are no restrictions based on timings

Dislikes

The food quality is not that good in the college.
The timings of girls hostel is very strict .
The timing of class is constant in very season .

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester the students get eligible for placement opportunities. The placement is quite good with 15lpa/year as the average package. There are also off campus opportunities. About 80 percent of the students get placed through ghe on campus placements.

Little bit about BIT

Likes

Firstly I liked the campus because it's very beautiful and peaceful.
Secondly I liked the labs. Of my department which are well equipped
Then the clubs and societies of the college are quite good

Dislikes

The administration is not that good as per me.
The hostel and mess fee is not that good .
Then there is vere less no of canteens and food centres

Placement Experience:

7th semester students are eligible for placements. More than 100 companies visit the campus and approx 80-90 percentage of students get placement offers. Highest is 8500000 Placement percentage is 80-90 Higher education

Fests, some professors, social life , seniors
The campus life is very scenic and photography club i joined very nice
The good green campus and no drugs and all is good

Dislikes

Old professors and teaching method with ppt
The arrogance of administration and paperwork
Fees is too high compared to other private colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very industry specific and CSE is very good in terms of placements. And the non circuital branches have a decent average placement. But the PPT system should be removed and new young teachers should be introduced.

One of the most underrated colleges of India: BIT Mesra

Likes

800 acre lush green campus, with all basic amenities being available at a reason cost
Placement stats of circuital branches, especially CSE and ECE
Fests like Bitotsav, Pantheon, E-summit, etc

Dislikes

Administration is not exactly good, things take time for execution and
Mess food quality, which is can easily be much better

Placement Experience:

Placements are great, especially for cicuital branches like CSE, AI&ML, ECE, EEE. For core branches, the placement stats are decent but not as great as circuital branches. The placement percentage was more than 80% last year, although due to recession, the stats have plumetted. Some students also get PPOs after internship in third year.
