JEE Main Syllabus Vs CUET Syllabus

JEE Main is conducted to offer students admission to B.Tech, B.Arch, & B.Plan. courses in NITs and other top universities of the country. On the other hand, CUET is conducted to admit students to B.Tech, BSc, BA, LLB, BMS, B.Com, etc in around 45 central universities. NTA conducts JEE Main twice a year whereas CUET is conducted only once a year by NTA.

JEE Main Paper 1 syllabus is based on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of 11th and 12th NCERT. For JEE Main Paper 2A, students need to prepare for Mathematics, Drawing, and General Aptitude. Moreover, for JEE Main Paper 2B candidates need to prepare for Mathematics, Planning, and General Aptitude subjects.

Considering the syllabus of JEE Main and CUET, CUET is easier than JEE Main. CUET syllabus includes only class 12th syllabus for physics, chemistry, and Mathematics. However, students appearing in CUET also need to prepare for Language and General Ability subjects.
