Shyama Prasad Mukherji College for Women Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

In university of Delhi there are only 4 colleges for B. Ed. course in which one college only for home science subject. Among 3 colleges I gave prefernce to this college because it has only 50 seats means less the student teacher ratio better the teaching, second thing is it's a girl college and last one is nearest to my home.

For this particular course, University just offers 3 options. While other two are Co-Ed, this is the only Women's college. It was second in my preference list, because it seemed better than the third (Maharshi Valmiki) and was nearer to my place.

It was nearby my house and i want to take admission in this college, as many of my friends opted for the same too. So, I decided to prefer this college. And the reason I took admission in b.ed was that i want to be a teacher in future. I think I love this profession. I want to share knowledge with learners. I want to do something for my country, and what could be better than teaching.

I choose this college because -it is near to my home. - easy conveyance - i like the infrastructure of college - the course is very interesting in terms of subjects including practical one. - stydenta are very disciplined. -college is situated in very quite locality.

I took admission in this college because of my I percentage. I could not get admission in any of the colleges in North campus. The college seems really nice and has a dedicated staff which works for the benefit of students. Also the nearby area is really nice and soothing.

I got 86% in my 12th examination, and I wanted to pursue political science hons. North campus has a very high cut-off for this course which usually exceeds 95 percentile, so getting admission in north campus was difficult. In second cut-off I got to know about shyama Prasad mukherji for women, and I visited the college and quite liked the atmosphere there. College is situated away from the noise in a very good area of Punjabi bagh west. It is an off campus girls college , it is at a walkable distance from metro station, getting PGs near College is also easy. Aslo the academics provided are excellent. So overall it's a pretty decent college for someone who has missed getting admission in north campus.

Delhi University provides this course in only 4 colleges and SPMCW was one of them. The label of DU in itself was sufficient to choose this college because cracking the entrance is in itself a much difficult task.

As we know by passing years things get better and this college has completed 50 years of educating children. It has years of experience so nothing can be better than that. This college is located in a well developed area so it's lot more safer for girls. Also they have one of the best faculty for b.com(hons).

I chose this college because of it’s grading according NAAC. It’s campus is great, the environment is quite neat, green and clean and the staff member are very frank. The existing students are very helpful and friendly. The nearby locality is very safe. Food served by canteen is amazing.

Delhi University affiliation was the main reason for joining the college and the building is very good with a good cafeteria. philosophy is quite interesting,so this subject attracted me. The college is located in Porsche area and well connected with metro and bus(walking distance).
