Which college of DU is better for political science hons: Dyal Singh College or Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College?

My knowledge is limited to the individual institutes and not their political science departments. In my opinion, Dayal Singh is a better choice than ARSD. here are a few reasons that justify my opinion Dyal Singh College has better infrastructure, a great location, and easy access to the metro station. Whereas. The metro line is still under construction near ARSD College. Both colleges are listed among the top 10 colleges in India. The crowd quality is similar in both the colleges with Dyal Singh giving a slight edge to ARSD. Dyal Singh has excellent amenities with a basketball court and spacious ground. Dyal Singh houses a massive library with more than 58,000 books on different disciplines, ranging from rare to the latest. It has a fully air-conditioned reading room with computers Dyal Singh has the facility of UGC-INFLIBNET through which the students can also access e-journals. All these points strongly claim that Dyal Singh is a better choice than ARSD unless you chose ASRD because of personal preferences.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees varies on the course one takes up and also from the category that a person belongs to. After totalling everything it comes upto 19000 for political science Hons. The college also provides scholarship to students belonging to the NORTHEAST, J&K students and many other scholarships are being given out to the rest of the students.

ATMA RAM SANATAN DHARMA

It is a government college so the college fees is 30,000 in 3 years. Anually they charge 10,000 and there is no other semester expenses. There is no registration fees. Fees are comparatively less for SC, ST and OBC than General.

Truth, Reality Or Myth

Fee stucture of Course POL SCI. Hons. is 14k average which include admission, fest, sports, cultural events and United fresher party of college. Our Third year fees is increased to 16k which was not good for students who are coming from Rural and other states. College include scholarship scheme which is known as Star student scheme those students who are good at studies get ammounts of money and Schemes like bonafide and competition are Oftenly organised which give students chance to earn rewards and cash prizes. Exam form fees is not included in admission fees . Other course like B.com. have fee structure 15k.

The fee for an year ranges to 15,000 INR which varies according to EWS and non EWS category. This fees excludes examination fees which is charged during the form filling of semester end exam which costs 1100 INR. Rest no other charges are wielded by the Institution. The cost of courses also varies with the type of course you pursue p, e.g. in BSc you need access to functional labs therefore the costs are higher. The scholarship are offered under different courses. There are in total 17 scholarships, the eligibility of which can be known through the college's website. Taneja foundation scholarship is extended to any student with merit and need. The Placement Cell of ARSDC is highly active and gives monthly internships and employment opportunities.

Talking specifically about my course i.e, pol sci hons, course fee structure is somewhat around 14k-14.5k anually, apart from this semester-wise exam feez is not added under this. That has to be paid seperately, which is around 1k per semester exams.

Navigating B.A hons political science: A Student's Perspective

1st year—-approx. rs 10000 2nd year—rs 11200 3rd year - rs 10900 rs 500 is the fee for semester exams . The scholarship I was given was based on my academic result, which was rs 800. But there are many scholarships given for different categories.

Life at Delhi University: Expectations vs Reality

The few structure in BA political science Hons is 15000/- per year , as per my understanding I didn't got any scholarship opportunity even when I was the topper of my class this year. And regarding the on campus jobs there is no such opportunity for humanities courses..rather they prefer technical courses
