- The annual cultural festivals like the ‘Rainbow Fest’ and other sports events are particularly exciting and foster a strong sense of community.
Dislikes
- Some facilities in the college aren’t that great , like the absence of good desks & board and also the non-ac classrooms which becomes a problem as Delhi’s weather gets scorching hot , which results in students skipping classes due to the humidity.
- Overcrowded classes also adds to the problem as some of the popular courses tend to be overcrowded , making it difficult to get personalised attention from the professors which can sometimes hinder the learning experience.
- The campus wifi isn’t the best and can be very unreliable at times, especially during peak hours.
Course Curriculum Overview
I've always had a niche for studying the political and economical state of the country & the world , and wanted to to take up political science as a major course . ARSD being ranked as one of the top colleges in India surely influenced my decision to enroll into the college and take up the course I was interested in .
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for my course is roughly 13-14k per year . The complete cost is rounded upto around 51,000 as per the college website . A lot of clubs are present in the college for students to enroll in
Campus Life
The college offers a very lively and engaging campus life for the students . There are numerous clubs such as Rangayan, Republica , Stella and many more clubs that cater to a wide range of interests. The annual cultural festivals and sports events are particularly exciting and foster a strong sense of community.
Admission
My batch was basically the Covid batch and we had to undertake the CUET exam to enroll into different universities as our class 12 marks weren't gonna help us . As for the cut-offs , there were 4 phases to it and we could choose to upgrade if there were seats available after each phase.
Faculty
The professors at the college are highly knowledgeable for sure , and also very much approachable at the same time . We might not have the best facilities but that does not hinder the student- teacher interaction when it comes to learning .
