The College haven't reduced syllabus for lateral entry students like other colleges it says that lateral entry students should writethe external exams too for m1 and m2 subjects

UVCE is a good college. And quite affordable as compared to other colleges. It provides a good education. There is only one problem and that is hostel allocation. They allocate colleges so late that the students have to wait and stay in pg and all and they have started college so early. And you can't find pg nearby so that's the only problem nothing else.????????

The fees is around 48,000 And example fees 2000 per sem For sc/st scholarship 750 is the fees The college provide some scholarship like uvce foundation and uvcega for meritious students The hostel fees is around 32000 for general category Good thing is that there is no management seats

Wanna know abou' ma college

The only college in India where the yearly fee of student are below 50k. All the students have worked their ass of to get into this college so basically many are bookworms and smart brains as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I close information Science and technology. Reason for simple, looking at the next 10-20 years, technology would increase tremendously and I feel secure to avail tecnical computer knowledge. Even if college has all "the big name" and fame because it is 103 old college, it lacks in faculty and the knowledge that each professor is good but every knowledgable personalities cannot become good teacher. On other hand, the professors are highly qualified and everyone bags PHD with them. For us first semester exams started a little late because classes itself started late i.e., December 2022. Subjects were not so difficult ones and most of the things were already taught in 12th itself. Still we had to study a lot in order to make a good score. The difference between 12th and engineering was the huge syllabus gap. To put it easy to understand, each subject had hardly 5 chapters and it was a tough phase for students to cover up all 5 before the day of exam.

Apart from studies, there are many extracurricular activities you can take part in them and many clubs are there if you are interested you can join them. This College supports many scholarship like vidyasiri, national scholarship Portal, North South scholarship, minority students scholarship etc from the Karnataka government. In addition to these our College has its own scholarship facilities to our College students who are very much need to receive scholarship. our College has 2 types of scholarship 1. UVCE foundation scholarship. 2. Vision UVCE scholarship. UVCE foundation scholarship is the biggest one nearly 200+ students will be getting this scholarship every year it's has some procedure to give scholarship like it will do some interviews for that. The scholarship offered is in between 10k to 50k.

There is one scholarship. But sadly i wasn't eligible. They said they would pay us 20k as scholarship. But my income was higher than cut off for eligibility l. So i didn't get tht one.my classmates applied and they got their scholarships

Best Engineering College in Karnataka

There are various scholarships offered for meritorious and suitable students. One is, VisionUVCE which takes applications, and selection is based on multiple rounds of interviews. Also, fee waiver is applicable to selected section of student category.
