Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I am a technology enthusiastic am there is a good scope in IT sector in Bangalore as we can see the IT boom. The syllabus is quite old and out dated and need to be revised. Requires the practical implementation of theory concepts due to poor lab infrastructure Exams are too delayed every time
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are available to students in 3rd semester itself. Stipend offered is from 30 to 70 thousands per month Top companies that provide internship are SAP and Deutsch Bank for 70k per month for 6 months internship
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for the college placement in the 6th semester Company like Accenture, IBM, TCS, SAP, DELL visit the campus every year and many other small scale companies and startups also recruit the students Highest package is 58LPA given to two students by ATTLASIAN Company Average package is 8lpa Percentile of students placement is 95% per year My plan is to get a software development job in an MNC company
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is very students friendly.it IT is made such that poor and meritorious students can afford quality education Complete cost of education is 4 lakhs for 4year course Scholarship like SSP State scholarships and national scholarships along with some other private local NGO funded scholarships are there
Campus Life
There are two cultural fest very year and 3 to 4 technical fest held in various months of year The library is outdated as per my observation but the minimum requirements are achieved The technology provision in the classroom is very bad condition no smart classroom Almost no sports activity in the college Impact on students life is good
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities for boys is quite good and affordable to students when compared to other colleges in Bangalore and various PGs across Bangalore Facilities in room are good with 2 double bunker beds and 4 table and chairs with rooms are quite aerated. Food and meals is nice when compared to other colleges in bangalore it cost arrond 90 rupees per day.
Admission
Eligibility for the course is 3000 rank in Karnataka common entrance test KCET Application available at KEA website Karnataka examination authority Reservation benefits as per KEA and the government of Karnataka are strictly applicable Admission software should be improved
Faculty
Almost all of the faculties are PHD holders. Some of them are the alumni of the college itself while some are IIT graduates. The quality of the staff is very good but the number of staff members is less and the staff is not so dedicated.
