Best Engineering College in Karnataka

I would recommend the college to aspiring engineering students. It is a good chance to study in this college. It is filled with nature all over the campus and has got a lovely environment. Real engineering is done here.

The course I took was Computer Science and Engineering. I got to learn things with in the course as well as extra knowledge related to the particular field. The exam is of total 1000 marks, where 100 marks for each theory and labs, and one or two internal assessments per semester,

The college offers an amazing placement opportunity, as well as a god number of internships. There is placement cell in college campus which is very helpful. The package offered to students ranges from 3 lakh per annum to 16.

There are four festivals conducted per semester, two being technical and two being cultural fests. Apart from that, IEEE organises various events throughout the year like technical, fun filled, and creative team events. There are other organisations inside the college which conducts events from time to time.

The fee structure is very feasible. For general category, per semester fee is 25000, and subsequently lesser for category students. Also, per semester exam fee is around 2000 and subsequently lesser for category students.

There are various scholarships offered for meritorious and suitable students. One is, VisionUVCE which takes applications, and selection is based on multiple rounds of interviews. Also, fee waiver is applicable to selected section of student category.

Sports is encouraged as it is the only engineering college under Bangalore University. Labs are old and equipments are old as well, but currently whole college is under renovation as it crosses 100 year Milestone. Other activites are good.

The alumni network is good. They acre active and take part in works related to college. Seniors are very helpful and friendly. Freshers party and farewell party are conducted branch wise. seniors help the juniors in studies and play together as well.

The college has an experienced team of faculty. Most of them are master degree holders and Ph.D holders as well. They have profound teaching knowledge and help the students related to the course and as well as other research oriented projects,
