Know about my college

Great college to enjoy life,to spend time outside the syllabus, what we get the most is tine for ourselves, it's all upon us, we have to study on ourselves and do works, no teacher is gonna help, they say we need 75% attendance but most of them don't care.so great college to enjoy 4 crucial and meaningful years of your life

This college started to follow cbcs system which is choice based credit system from last two years. It's more strict than how it used to be but not hectic by any means. Internal evaluation is done and considered for cgp

Placements are too gud in our college, and we get internships also. We get rakuten,adobe and many more MNCs. Placements go on throughout the year and we have 100%placements every year. 2 of our seniors got placed for 49.75 lacs per annum. Which is a great deal

There will be 4 fests every year, 2 cultural 2 technical, in which two are inter and 2 are intra college fests. There are other events organised by ieee like bhaag uvce and jaatre etc,, we never feek bored in our college

As it is government college fee structure is too feasible,, any body can afford, and if you belong to minority or some lower cast you'll get discounts, and if u prove tht your income is less than a lac per annum you'll get complete refund

There is one scholarship. But sadly i wasn't eligible. They said they would pay us 20k as scholarship. But my income was higher than cut off for eligibility l. So i didn't get tht one.my classmates applied and they got their scholarships

There is no support for sports, heck there is not even a ground for gods sakes. Labs are old and broken and syllabus and tools are also of time of independence, so don't expect anything related to sports and infrastructure

No. I live in private hostel so no comments on tht but my friends told me tht infrastructure is too bad and many guys had to live in same room so they protested and they say things are good now since they got a new building

Seniors are the coolest.they help us in everything. They are socially awesome and they are the ones who organise everything, faculty does nothing, there's is no ragging and seniors are the ones who make life easier in uvce

I was interested in engineering so i wrote cet which is entrance exam for all engineering colleges in karnataka. I got a decent rank of 5405.and i was shortlisted in 3rd round of seat allotment.admssion was done after a month.

As it is a government college i did not expect much from them and i was right. Most of them don't care but ones who do are really good. Some lecturers don't even bother about attendance and they let us free.
