I close information Science and technology. Reason for simple, looking at the next 10-20 years, technology would increase tremendously and I feel secure to avail tecnical computer knowledge. Even if college has all "the big name" and fame because it is 103 old college, it lacks in faculty and the knowledge that each professor is good but every knowledgable personalities cannot become good teacher. On other hand, the professors are highly qualified and everyone bags PHD with them. For us first semester exams started a little late because classes itself started late i.e., December 2022. Subjects were not so difficult ones and most of the things were already taught in 12th itself. Still we had to study a lot in order to make a good score. The difference between 12th and engineering was the huge syllabus gap. To put it easy to understand, each subject had hardly 5 chapters and it was a tough phase for students to cover up all 5 before the day of exam.

99 percent of students from CSE/ ISE are placed very year. Generally placement training and the placements review start from 3rd year of engineering. This year it's been a news that three students were offered for 55 lakh per annum of CSE branch.

Life of UVCIANS at the campus I can't say it's good but I cannot deny it's bad as well. Because there are places like rockgarden, minchu where students like to spend their time after their classes. MILAGRO- is one of the cultural fest organised in uvce. IMPETUS - is a inter collegiate extravagance. And there are many more fests like Inspiron, feista etc. There are many clubs in UVCE which are run by students themselves like IEEE, MARVEL, GDSE- technical based and other clubs like MOMENTO a dance crew, TATVA - a theatrical club and many more..

Admission process was all taken care by kea, educational board of Karnataka. In order to get into top engineering college students of 12th passed should take kcet entrance exam. Exam would be MCQ type questions same as other entrance exams. Application to fill and registeration for kcet exam, if you want latest updates you can visit the official KEA website. To get into University College of engineering also known as UVCE across the country, student should score a good rank which is 2k-3k for general merit and 5k - 10k for backward classes and SC/ST students must atleast get a rank of range 5- 15k rank of they are planning on getting into my college. Also there are many reservations like special category which includes NCC, SPORTS so students get make use of it and reservations for students from rural background. Admission process went peace and yeah another advise is for the students should make sure they have valid certificates if they availing reservations.
