Good learning Place

Faculty:

In this college we have sufficient number of facilties and they are friendly and after completing the class they ask do anyone have doubts come and ask with me. Maths and programming language faculties are too much friendly and i like them. and for every sem we have two internals of 20 marks for each students and in whole class no students are failed, and question papers for exams are also prepared by faculties who taught class so it makes us easy to prepare for exams.

I liked the Teaching Faculty , The affordable fees amount, The College campus

Overall the UVCE college is a good college. Quite affordable, Good teaching faculty, the college teachers provides extra time to study, There are one teacher for one subject. The teaching faculty are quite approachable. Everyone is erfect but I like shaheeda mam and sunil sir. But everyone is so good. There are 2 internal exams and one external for 100 marks and it will be reduced to 50 and internals and for 50 marks.

Internships are good

The facilities are experienced and are teaching well.

Firstly faculties are good and they teach well. But if they are not able to complete the syllabus before last working day, they just end up till what they taught and remaining are students responsibility. Courses available are CSE, ISE, AIE, ECE, EEE, ME, CE and architecture. Placements for IT sectors are good but for core courses it will be little difficult and you may get low packages. Coming to exam structure They conduct 2 inyernals for 20 marks each and give 5 marks assignment for each internals. Final sem exam will be for 100 marks then they reduce it to 50 and then add it up with internals marks. Based on that marks they will calculate your CGPA.

College is giving very good opportunity for students coming from villages and poor background just use it in the proper

The teaching is just awesome the professors are so experienced and thought us very effectively and the teachers give more concentration on concept clearance and the teachers will bring instruments to the class to teach students practically .

Faculties are just owsome and very available to approach in a college timings and after college timings also and I liked all professors teaching method and there dedication and knowledge towards class is unbelievable The faculties indidnt liked were office staffs they are so annoying and not to much have care about students admission and results Exams will be conducted in a manner that first 2 internals will be there and if marks are not so good we can write third internal also and sem exams will be once in a 6 months

Teaching faculties could take a few initiatives to teach the students

The faculties are approachable and quite friendly. There are a lot proffesers for one course which is a good thing. Controller of examinations office has the best faculty. Proffesers are very experienced as well.

A life at uvce

Few of faculty are very rude and they expect only the crs to contact them but they are also faculties senior faculty who are very much friendly and help a lot in studies there are 2 internals and 1 externals which are scaled done to 50

Nurturing the future leaders :UVCE

They are 2 to 3 faculties for every subject Some faculties are friendly and except the students,but some are too strict to deal with. They are around 6 to 10 exams including lab exams in a particular semester. Exams are easy if we study well and can clear the sem,if not it may be a burden.

UVCE - Not just a College, beyond that....!

University of Visvesvaraya College of Engineering is an autonomous college under iit model. Also it is a government college where students can get into this college only through competitive exam like KCET. All the teachers in this coluare very experienced and they will clarify all the doubts. Since we get lot of free time in this college we can work on many real life projects which will help in the future. All exams are conducted in college itself and correction is also done by the professors of our college. You will have 2 internals and the total internal marks are for 50. You will write an exam for 100 marks and they will be reduced to 50. These marks will be added to internals marks and final marks will be provided.

1. Faculty to student ratio is actually a bit bad. I haven't calculated exactly, but it's roughly 80-100 to 1. 2. Just as in every other college, there are some good faculties and some bad. But generally they're approachable and will entertain your doubts. 3. Some of the better faculties are Thriveni madam, Manjula madam and Kiran Sir. They're the more experienced ones, and they teach well. 4. Exam structure: i) for labs: one lab internal, and one lab external(final exam) ii) for other subjects: 2 internals, and one external(final exam) Exams are a bit on the tougher side, as the previous year questions don't usually repeat, but they're not as hard as say, IIT/NIT level. 5. Course curriculum is a bit outdated (last updated on 2020). So it's left to you to upgrade your skills
