Course Curriculum Overview

The teaching here is best if you wish to learn. Sometimes it becomes hectic as there will be classes of 1hour 40 minutes which is a burden to attend. However the lab are well equipped and also the lab incharges are well trained

Placement Experience

The placement of the college is awesome the median package is 9lpa for 23 batch including all the branches the placement percentage is 84 percent For 25 batch currently placements are going on. Placements usually start as soon as you enter 4 th year

THE FEES FOR 1ST SEM IS 48000 WITH NO ADDITIONAL FESS. ALSO FOR SC/ST ITS ONLY 750 NUMEROUS SCHOLARSHIP ARE THERE TO APPLY INCLUDING NSP SSP UVCE ALUMNI SUPPORT ETC. IT HAS TWO CAMPUS ONE IN K R CIRCLE THE OTHER IN JYANABHARATI(CIVIL)

Campus Life

there are numerous clubs in the college The famous one are IEEE UVCE, MARVEL UVCE etc A total of five fests are organised MILAGRO - THE MAIN ONE Kagada Impetus Fiesta Inspiron Esportivo And many more small events are organised frequently

Admission

Good placements,no formal dress code, everything is so lineient here. The college currently takes Admission through KCET.For GM candidate the closing ranking for ECE would be around 9.5k Also it has some seats reserved for CSAB-NEUT

Faculty

The faculty here are legends.most of them are PhD holders. Two internals exams and one end semester is conducted per semester 10 marks is in the hand of teacher Internals for 20 marks and end sem condensed to 50 marks

Night Life

The college is located in a place where all the other buildings belong to govt. Near by places inculde cubbon park, vidhan soudha, high court. The college door is usually opened by7:30 as some classes are scheduled at 8:00 and closed by 5:30 pm

Placement Experience:

The placement in colleges was good but the salary for the core job work was very less, maxing at 23000 at max, but the pay for other job roles was much higher, so getting a job from college was not difficult

From first sem to 8 sem it has various subjects, in 1 st sem there is various branch subjects that's are some are my favourite and some are tough for me but after that in 2 and 3 year all the subjects related to my course are so gud and some are problematic subjects even I selected some problematic subjects in open elective all are so gud understanding.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say academic wise. There is nothing much happening right now in first year, but then there are many events like hackathons happening where and we can participate and learn a lot even our first year and we have English film and Japanese film, which is basically a whole language club and there are a lot of activities happening such as debate and all, which is obviously helping us gain a lot of public speaking skills and confidence.

I had applied to the UVCE for civil engineering branch first option and first round I got BIT college i don't have interest to go to that college because of high fees . So I waited for UVCE college because of its professors and it's name and famous earlier and it's a first engineering college in the Karnataka and it's 5th engineering college in the india because of its history i have choose this college . Students need to rank below 5000 in KCET exam to get ISE and CSE branch and 10000 for ECE and EEE branch and 20000 for Civil and Mech branch .
