The undergraduate students are admitted purely on the basis of merit through K-CET (KARNATAKA - COMMON ENTRANCE TEST) only. The Post Graduate students are admitted based on their GATE AND PGCET RANKING only. The College offers 6 BE/B.Tech programs and 24 ME/M.Tech programs, M.Sc (Engg) and Doctoral Programs. The college is a QIP Centre recognized by MHRD, New Delhi for postgraduate and doctoral programs in Civil Engineering.

Teachers are high qualified many are PhD holders some are IITians and some are from IISC banglore. 2024 passout batch has CBCS scheme you can google about cbcs for more knowledge and now 2022 admissions have NEP i.e new education policy. Teaching quality is good but self study is must in this college there is no spoon feeding. There will be 2 internals and one sem exam in one semester. You can score well in exams if u do well in internals.

Specially if you get computer science (CSE) or information science (ISE) you should not miss this college placements are amazing. Like SAP Labs offered 20 LPA, Fivetron 40 LPA, Walmart, Rakuten 10LPA and many top more companies. From the Sixth semester, only companies start coming to college and there are many more internship opportunities. Almost there will be 2-3 offers for each student placements in this college you can't miss.

To be honest college is 104 years old infrastructure you can't expect like other private colleges now renovation has been started it's developing a lot there are well equipped labs and wifi facility and library facility is also there . In labs computers are of new generation and new model labs are good at starting you will feel college is very old after some days you will get adjusted Boys hostel is nearby to college and girls hostel is in jaynagar you can travel through metro . In hostel food is ultimate and at very low price staying In hostel is free just you have to pay mess bill i.e 75? per day and you will love it because in bangalore you can't get food 3 times a day In this price. It's really affordable and food quality is good
