The faculty which is very helpful, kind , sweet and supporting
There are numbers of scholarship opportunities available for students .these scholarships recognised merit and talent for students .fee concession students in need of financial assistance may apply on the prescribed form available at the office.next one is student aid fund
Placements of the college is very good many top companies visit the campus for placements.

Dislikes

Class size was 55 which kind of made it difficult for teachers to provide individual attention. Students who opted for language hindi were more at loss as the reading material was a little difficult to access.
Thing I didn't like was the busy and hectic schedule. It restricted our participation in various other extra curricular activities and restricted us mostly to our course structure only
The campus being in South Delhi and no other college near it, sometimes feels isolated. There is no inter college connectivity.

LSR provides security!!

Likes

Appreciation should for the students as all students here are too focused and therefore one don't have to look elsewhere for motivation.
Next would be the grass bank that has a cut out of LSR.
Pioneer quality teaching and pioneer quality course is something which can't be compared with anything.

Dislikes

For sure it's the timings as on some days out classes ends at as long as 7 pm.

Our mock drills begins from second year and in 4th year we get placements from the campus. However, fourth year is optional as some students or rather maximum students prepare for CAT or MBA program and I am also doing the same as I want to pursue as PGDBM degree after the third year.

LSR makes legendary students!

Certainly it's the course structure as Psychology is a deep study and our course is indeed quote deep.
The crowd as probably all the intelligence feels like exists here.
Faculties experience is something which has made me on awe of them.

Dislikes

Not much of help from the students as girls in our college are little mean for sure.

From emotional experience to biological behaviour our course has it all. So therefore it's my advice as well that for those who want to study Psychology that DU is best and LSR being the best is definitely the best. Course toughness is definitely moderate than others but vastness is very high as we have more subjects than the others.

LSR is a legendary college in its own right!

Likes

The vibe in and around the college as all girls college so feminism is always at its peak.
Even the secured enviornment is what we get as freedom of speech is something which I have learned here.
All the life lessons that one needs to learn in life, LSR campus teaches them all.

Dislikes

Some seniors are really rude as asking them for help is like asking for a charity.

Nomura, Barclays, and likewise many investment companies be it local or international companies which requires maths to do the detailed charting are the ones that gave us secured jobs with 40 to 50 thousand in hand.

Something About LSR

Likes

I like the various placement and internship opportunities provide by the college.
I also like the campus vibe, having greenery and peaceful with three big lawns.
I also like the various on going activities in college on each day.

Dislikes

The college don't has the AC classroom, as it becomes tremendous hot during summer.

Placement Experience:

Students of third year are only eligible for placement, rest all are eligible for internship opportunities. LSR provides internship and placement in many sectors like data science, consultancy, etc. The placement rate of LSR is very good, having highest package in history of Delhi University with 49 LPA. Also having 11 LPA as average package. Many prestigious companies came to campus for placement and internship such as Macquarie, BlackRock, McKinsey, etc.

LSR REVIEW

Likes

LSR is a highly academic college and there is high focus on lectures, assignments and presentations.
The campus is really beautiful and the lawns are very peaceful.
There are many speaker sessions going on almost everytime which provide knowledge apart from the course.

Dislikes

The classrooms are not spacious and there are no adequate fans.
There is very high academic pressure and students are always burdened with deadlines.
The food of canteen is not suitable. Some dishes are okay but some are very tasteless.

Placement Experience:

Students get placements mostly in the third year, which is the 5th semester. Towards the end of the year, they start appearing for interviews. Average package of the college is around 600000. My plan is to give CSE after getting this degree.

Magic Of LSR

I like the overall infrastructure of college , the elegant red walls keeps me motivated all the time even after having 0 energy levels at evening.
The thing i like the most is the affordability, just 20000 for a year is something very affordable and roi is damn good
Talking about the maintaince, the working staffs actually put efforts in maintaing the greenery and overall Beauty of campus

Dislikes

I dislike the timings , its mandatory to join nso , nss or ncc .

Placement Experience:

My college has best placement across all du colleges , average placement is 9-10 and highest is around 40 lpa, but the thing is not all departments have same opportunity for grabbing good placement but if your cv is strong enough and acquire relevant skills then you can grab good placements.

How's life at LSR?

Likes

The campus is excellent especially the lawns , the front lawn and the back lawn are really so peaceful that you can spend your whole day sitting there admiring the natural beauty.
The faculty is also well qualified and would help you with each and every minor problems. Even the seniors are so friendly and cooperative they help us in everything from academics to what societies we should go for.
The Nescafe and cafe(canteen) also provide us with better quality food which is lifesaver for pg students. College also calls big companies for placements.

Dislikes

The old building sucks in summers as it was built a long time ago and thus fans do not function properly.
There isn't proper ventilation inthe old building and the wifi doesn't works in new building.
There's no AC in the Auditorium,which was quite shocking at first. And it becomes almost impossible to sit in the Auditorium during summers.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in there final year or sixth semester. A lot of big companies visit the college for placements. The Economics Hons department and Bcom Hons department get the highest placements.

Life at LSR

Likes

Campus is aesthetically pleasing, it's very beautiful.
The faculty is from diverse backgrounds and highly experienced.
Ensures safety of students within the campus efficiently

Dislikes

The are outside the campus is unsafe, actions are needed to be taken.
There is poor infrastructure, needs improvement
The environment is academic oriented, which creates pressure to excel in everything

Students from 5th semester or third year are eligible for campus placements here. Various companies which visited here are Google, Paypal, Amazon, Deloite, etc. Average package is from 10lakhs to 12 lakhs. On an average 60-70% students get placements.

college provide free internships. laptops are provided
student union is very good. seniors are supportive
professor are too good specially from mathematics department

Dislikes

women safety is not their priority. too much greenery in summers there are so many insects there
someone tried to kidnap a student in front of main gate. a guy masturbates on the way to college and no action has taken

Life at lady Shri ram College for women

For me the thing I like the most about LSR is its beauty. Its very beautiful, green and clean and do wins green cup ever year.
The placement and intership opportunities at LSR are excellent.
Teachers at LSR are very experienced and considerate. They listen our problems and their teaching method is great as well.

Dislikes

Being a girls college it's safe but sometimes it feels like it lacks the fun of the co-ed colleges.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell at college is actually great. Big companies come to college with great packages. Although it also depends on course to course. Every company has its own eligibility. Companies like Accenture, HUl, Barclays and many more have come to LSR.
