Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to persue this particular course philosophy, since i have great interest, reason being i wanted to do some diverse course , so philosophy was my second preference, philosophy is a bit challenging subject , it requires deep thinking and analytical skills afterall , but papers are not that difficult at all.
Placement Experience
My college has best placement across all du colleges , average placement is 9-10 and highest is around 40 lpa, but the thing is not all departments have same opportunity for grabbing good placement but if your cv is strong enough and acquire relevant skills then you can grab good placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
LSR which is the best women college in DU as it is one of the best affordable colleges out there , my annual fees is just 20 k and my entire cost of education is 60k . To study at this cost from the finest college , its the novelty unmatched , college also provides scholarship and fellowship facilities to its students .
Campus Life
My overall experience till now is good , college has good crowd and exposure , we have students from different parts of india and foreigners as well , college has so many clubs and society, I'm myself part of wus society , infrastructure is also great .
Admission
I chose this college over others as LSR was my only preference not only because its the finest colleges out there but also because of its non coed nature , I didn't get rejection from others college, i rejected them over LSR. For getting into lsr you have to appear for cuet and cutoffs are big higher for lsr
Faculty
I believe that LSR has the best faculty among all DU college , no matter what your course is , lsr offers best faculties for all the subjects , talking about the exam structure, so for this we have 2 semester per year , level of difficulty is moderate , if you have appeared for the class tests timely , then it will a piece of cake for you to excel in exams , professors really wants to help freshers with answer writing skills and if you fail any exam by any chance then you can appear for the improvement exam in third semester
Night Life
At night or after class we often go to the lawns and the open gym of college, unfortunately hostels are non available as of now , as its under construction, there are so many hangout places in lajpat nagar like shopping complex , cafes etc .
