My overall experience has been a mix of emotions. Tarang a three day annual fest of lsr is bomb and noor is the diwali fest plus every dept has their own fests. The environment is very lively, inclusive. Sports Complex is very pretty . The college is hub of extra curricular activities.

There's a diwali mela here in lady Shri Ram College for women every year and with passes students are allowed, only girls though. And farewells and freshers for college students of course are held every year. The library has a lot of books and almost everything available and if something's not available, the staff ins always ready to help. The sports and such activities happen all the time too. The societies are very beneficial for students' development, make sure to participate in at least one or two.

There are several societies like, Dramsoc, Elocution, VAPP, Dhyana, Dancesoc, MUN, WDC and Reach to name a few. The process for getting into one or more of these socities usually involves a written application (a google form with somewhere about 8-10 questions), a group discussion and a personal interview. You can join multiple societies depending on your inclinations and skill-set given the work and academic commitments allow you.

1. There are 2 major annual fests held in my college - NOOR, TARANG. Noor is basically a Diwali Mela held by National Service Scheme. And Tarang is 3 days fest from morning to night. Several artists are called on all 3 days to perform. Apart from these, each department also organises their respective fests. 2. The library has a very calm and pin drop silence environment with a huge and vast variety of books of each department - be it Hindi, English, Pol science, Philosophy or Sanskrit etc. 3. There are 2 buildings - Old & New. The New building has spacious classrooms with a glass wall separating the classroom from the balcony. Whereas the old building has a tut block in which the tutorial classes are held and the rooms are usually small since they are not fot the entire class but for a small proportion of class with 7-8 students. 4. Extracurricular activity (ECA) is mandatory for each course students as you would not get your degree without it. There are 3 ECAs in my college - (i) NCC - National Cadet Corps https://lsr.edu.in/students/ncc/ (ii) NSO - National Sports Organization https://lsr.edu.in/students/nso/ (iii) NSS - National Service Scheme https://lsr.edu.in/students/nss/ Check out the links for more information. You have to select any one of the above and devote atleast 150 hours to it throughout your entire course in order to get your degree for whatever course you are doing. If your admission was done through the sports quota, NSO will be compulsory for you. 5. All the societies are run by students themselves.

They have a wide range of extra curricular activities ranging from dramatics to speaking in English. We also had various NGOs teaching us a lot of things and the infrastructure of the college is very well with spacious classrooms and lush green gardens..

The entire girl's college experience is very comforting and easy to flow with. Although studies might be heavy at times the greenery around campus and the dogs surely help relax. The regular cutesy events and the clubs also are stress busters. The Dancesoc, dram soc, and MUN society are the top societies of LSR.

TARANG is the annual fest of LSR and everyone enjoy to their fullest in it. It is a 3- day long fest where musicians and singers are invited. There are many clubs and societies in college for different activities related to music, dance, art, entrepreneurship, etc.
