LSR Delhi Ranking 2025

There are many intership opportunities given to lsr students and placement cell is pretty active here. There are other platforms and shared references as well from where we get infos and opportunities. We get to apply to many top companies like Amazon, McKinsey, Genpact, d.e. shaw, blinkit, boston consultancy, and even political science students also apply to these companies despite of their humanities background. And they also get intership opportunities from political consultancies like ipac, showtime, vote bridge India,etc. Stipend is usually between 10k to 1 lac .

The internship opportunities here in LSR are up to the mark as the VAPP ( voluntary agency placement program) and placement cell provide adequate internship opportunities to the students most preferably to the second and third year students. The companies that provide internship opportunities to students are McKinsey, Deloitte, Zomato,Godrej etc. Moreover, many fellowships are also provided to the students in LSR .

H&M, Levis India and some welness names as Sociology studnets could serve the best there. I did at H&M twice as they liked my work and I made presentations for them and also made move to pitch slaes for them.

The internship opportunities are a little less as compared to the crowd but there are several part time and full time internships circulated via the pcell. The companies that offer summer internships include McKinsey, BCG, Nation with Namo, Godrej, Bain, Genpact, JSW etc with stipend ranging from 1k0 to 60k per month. There are also short term internships which are circulated throughout the year.

HT Media, Endemol Group and some other prominent media houses which needs Journalism students as our elective on journalism is there. So students are hired and it's not just during Summer of December break but virtual internships are provided all year round to us.

Many corporate houses to make us write and speak accordingly is where we get the internship opportunities. Power companies and Banks and hotels are three major industries where we had Internships opportunities with a stipend of around 10k.

Power companies like NTPC, PFC and others gave us summer internships this year as they wanted to train us. Not just hotels or regular places where one would presume that English speaking girls are required.

The college offers Part time and Full time internships for students from Dream Companies as well as Tier 1 and Tier 2 companies. Students intern in Marketing, Consulting, Analytics, Finance, Content Writing and many more varied roles. Companies like Bain, McKinsey, BCG, Blackrock, Godrej, Boat, Paper Boat, Accenture, Deloitte, PwC and many more visit for various roles at LSR. The stipend ranges from 10K to 2L depending on the type of company and duration of internship. There are several Government offered internships as well.

Internships at LSR mostly depend on you. Linkedin is your best bet, just apply to as many as you can, don’t overthink it. Some people also get internships through cold emails or referrals. If you intern during the semester, you can get it approved for credits, and it actually shows up on your marksheet. LSR also has a summer NGO internship program that replaces your SEC, so you don’t have to appear for that subject. It’s a nice way to get some field exposure and ease your load a bit. Students have interned at places like Teach for india, Yuva Unstoppable, Cry, Slam out loud, Breakthrough india, Safe city, AIESEC, and a bunch of other NGOs and ed-tech startups. Some also manage internships at places like The print, Think india, Fem research india, or small law and media firms if you're interested and apply early.

Many social ngos actually as orphan homes and all are the places where I would love to intern. Knowing kids and kids with mental ailmets is my first choice. Our college societies helps in getting internships opportunities there.
