Lady Shri Ram College Cutoff 2024: Check CUET Cutoff Marks/Merit List

Lady Shri Ram College for Women cutoff 2023 is out for UG and PG programs based on CUET marks. PG Mop-Up Round Seat Allotment result has been released on October 20, 2023. Candidates can check the allocation result by logging into their CSAS(PG) dashboard @pgadmission.uod.ac.in. Acceptance of the allocated seat will be done from October 20 to October 22 and the last date for fee payment is October 24, 2023. Also, NTA has announced CUET UG 2024 and CUET PG 2024 exam dates. The CUET UG 2024 exam will be held from May 15 to May 31, while the CUET PG 2024 exam is scheduled to be held from March 11 to March 28, 2024.

Lady Shri Ram College for Women admissions to all UG and PG courses are done through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS UG/CSAS PG) Portal based on CUET scores. Candidates who appeared for the CUET UG and CUET PG examinations are also required to register on the CSAS portal for seat allotment. CSAS seat allotment process includes three phases, first is CSAS form filling, second is filling college/program preferences and the third is seat allocation which will be done in multiple rounds. Lady Shri Ram College for Women cutoff 2023 or seat allotment for UG courses will be released soon through the DU CSAS portal. Selected candidates or candidates who have been allotted seats in any of the CSAS rounds must pay the admission fee and submit the required documents to confirm their seats. Upon acceptance of a seat, the college will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the payment of the fee. Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Admission Process 2023

Delhi University is conducting admissions to all UG and PG programs through Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for all its affiliated colleges. The entire process is explained below:

Phase 1: CSAS Application Form

Aspirants are required to fill the CSAS application form on the centralized admission portal by paying a one-time non-refundable application fee.
ECA and sports quota candidates will have to pay an additional fee.

Phase 2: Selection of Courses and College Preferences

Second phase will start after the results of the CUET examination are declared.
After the CUET Result declaration, eligible candidates will have to select the courses and fill the preference of desired colleges on the centralised CSAS portal.

Phase 3: Seat Allocation and Final Admission

Seat Allotment will be released on the basis of CUET scores, the combination of college and program chosen, the position of the candidate on the merit list, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.
Multiple rounds of seat allotment will be conducted.
Candidates will have to check if they have been allotted a seat on the CSAS dashboard. If allotted, candidates must accept their seat on or before the given date for that particular round.
Seat allocation will be based on multiple factors such as - combination of college and program chosen, position of the candidate on the merit list, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.
Upon acceptance of seat, the university will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the payment of fees.

What to expect: with PG in DU

Its faculty members are highly qualified, passionate about teaching, and committed to mentoring students. They are really helpful.
LSR’s societies, such as the Women’s Development Cell, actively work toward raising awareness and addressing social issues, etc. provide a supporting space for students to grow. I love these societies.

The first day when I went there, I kind of felt there was lack of staff because I couldn't get any help with my forms. Later on of course I realised that was the case only on that day.

This college has a high NIRF ranking so I chose it as my first preference of course. Also I wanted to go to Jawaharlal Nehru University for my Post graduation in political science but it I couldn't get in so I chose Delhi University as my next preference. I say to get a good college college which you want prepare a lot for your cuet pg and yeah you'll do good.

Life at LSR summed up: All you need to know

The faculty was very thorough with their grasp on the subject and made concerted efforts to impart it well in a way that students could understand
The college had a great cafe, offering a variety of delicious food at very affordable prices making it suitable for students who are tired of PG meals

There should have been some practical hands on courses, however, that seems to have been resolved with the new education policy and addition of several SEC and VAC courses to the curriculum

I made it to my dream college in the first merit list. LSR was my first choice for a number of reasons- 1. It was and is one of the top liberal arts colleges, in a way, brand value impacted my overall perception 2. The exposure it provides in terms of societies and internships 3. I didn't wanna go to North Campus 4. Distance from my place of stay 5. Placements It was a more of why I wanted to join LSR thought process rather than a why not so and so college. I got joined LSR, Delhi University used to release merit-based cut-off lists accounting for our performance in the Board exams.

The greenery: There are lawns, trees, a pond and many species of flowers in spring.
Calm environment: LSR provides a very calm environment to the students especially the library. Apart from that many certain areas and the blocks of buildings are usually very silent and calming

Eve teasing: The students have often encountered highly inappropriate behavior by some men near the college campus
Language barrier: Students with a hindi background often face difficulty here as most of the professors use English to teacj

1. I didn't actually have to 'apply'. As per the new system of Delhi University, the candidate is required to attend an entrace exam called Common University Entrance Exam (CUET). Before that, he/she has to submit a preference list of colleges he/she is aiming for (beginning from the most wanted to least). The candidate will be alloted a centre for the exam and it takes place on the computer. Based on the normalised score, he/she will get colleges. For ex, I got LSR in the 1st round itself and I confirmed it instead of waiting for the authority to provide me with any other college. However, if you aren't satisfied with the college you got in the first round, you can ofcouse wait for the next 4 rounds and get the college you want. 2. The same process is for my college as well as it comes under DU. The only eligibility criteria for my course is that the candidate should have studied English in 11th and 12th std. 3. The cutoffs vary. Each year a new cutoff list is released after the conduction of CUET.

An insight into a beautiful college

It was an amazing experience and people were very welcoming and it was a great learning experience. Not only I got a chance to interact with the brightest of the mind, but also expand my horizon by learning beyond the books.

The timings were pretty much not good and it was off campus, so we did not really get chance to mix up with other colleges.

This college was my first choice, not only because of its reputation, but also because of the wide range of courses that it offers and the admission process was also not very difficult. This college is anyone's dream College because you get to interact with people from all over the country and it provides a space space for women

All about campus life.

It’s an all girls college So no ratio, all girls it is.
The thing that I like about my campus is the infrastructure.

That it’s all girls college. It’s should be coed.
People are sometimes very studious ( nerd)

Well, who would not choose LSR!! I wanted psychology hons and there were only a few colleges who offered this course, so got the college and course I wanted. Now the admission process are done by the exam called CUET whose score determine your college.

Why LSR? - Why not LSR?

Active Societies- Societies in LSR are constantly working towards organising extra-curricular and academic events, seminars and workshops
Safe Environment- It is a safe space for all women!

Infrastructure Crunch- LSR has a beautiful 15 acre campus like all DU colleges, but the classrooms of old building are slightly less ventilated
Hectic Schedule- LSR has a pretty strict view towards attendance and discipline, it is academically rigorous

Well, LSR Political Science was my FIRST PREFERENCE and I got into it. But I considered going to Hindu College and Miranda House as well. I got into Fergusson College, Pune Jai Hind, Mumbai St. Xaviers Mumbai and 3-4 others. I chose LSR because of its FACULTY, excellent CROWD and actively engaging societies. LSR is mainly an arts college and I wanted a safe environment where I can grow intellectually. I didn't go to other colleges because LSR had always been my first choice and the legacy and esteem the institution holds is INCOMPARABLE. Delhi University is the premier university in India for arts courses. I had to give CUET-UG conducted by NTA to get admission in DU's colleges.My score was 782/800 and my AIR was 170The cutoff was 776/800UR

THE LSR EXPERIENCE

The opportunities LSR provides is top notch and the college adds to your CV value that can be easily leveraged no matter at what stage you are professionally.
The faculty is something the college takes great pride in rightfully. The faculty's experience and talent reflects in the assignments they give and their teaching patterns.

The college admin can be a little rigid in their ways and might not always be as cooperative. So whenever going to Admin office, just breath!
The political underlinings to the college is something you might not always enjoy. Even if you try to keep a distance from these things there might be a point when you get dragged in such matters.

LSR is considered one of the best colleges for Journalism in the country. They have an amazing track record in placements and the alumni are impressive. please check on the site to see the alumni. The overall girl's college experience is very comforting.

Stricttness for attendance, classes get cancelled sometime at end

As it was the best college for statistics in delhi and it is a girls college, so for safety purpose and for best placement it is the best thing . Even here u can improve ur personality too. Its faculty and other curriculum activities is nice

Why you should choose LSR

The college has a really nice and green campus where students love to spend time.
The teachers and staff are really cooperative and helpful.

The campus is not that big and is limited.
The college is a bit isolated from other colleges so you don’t get to interact with others.

I chose this college over other colleges because it is one of the top colleges of du and has a really good reputation. This was my first preference for taking admission so I didn't get rejected by any other college. The admission process is really simple. You just need to qualify CUET and apply. You will be allotted according to your score.
