Course Curriculum Overview
B.Sc (H) Mathematics is known to be as a difficult course. But in real sense, it taught us to solve many real life problems easily. Also due to NEP, there a paper named as Generic Elective where you we can choose a subject of our interest. So having maths assignment major subject, students used to choose mostly computer science, statistics, economics,etc these combinations are considered to be good forore diverse carrer paths. Exams are going to be in December for semester 1 and in May - June for semester 2.
Internships Opportunities
The placement cell of LSR provides a lot of internship opportunities in various sectors along with in prestigious companies as well. Sectors like data science, data analysis, content writing, consultancy, etc. Companies includes BlackRock, McKinsey,HUL ,etc. Last year 120+ internship opportunities offered by placement cell of LSR.
Placement Experience
Students of third year are only eligible for placement, rest all are eligible for internship opportunities. LSR provides internship and placement in many sectors like data science, consultancy, etc. The placement rate of LSR is very good, having highest package in history of Delhi University with 49 LPA. Also having 11 LPA as average package. Many prestigious companies came to campus for placement and internship such as Macquarie, BlackRock, McKinsey, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure for LSR is fine. As fee of my course is around 22000 per year, which is affordable. This amount have to be paid at starting. LSR also provides freeship as well, if you are getting that then your fee will refund back to you.
Campus Life
The campus is very peaceful. There are lot of societies in which you can enroll. Also having speaker session and other activities also going on in college on every day in which students can participate and having with lot of exposure.
Admission
Students have to be a part of cuet exam to get admission in Delhi University as well as Lady Shri Ram College For Women, which is held every every year in May- June. After exam, you have to participate in councelling also.
Faculty
The faculty at LSR is very good, specially for mathematics department, they are best. They are helping in nature at any time. They also used to held doubt session for students and their understanding.
Interview Experience
No, there is no any group discussion for admission. Just appear in cuet exam and participate in councelling, on basis of your marks and percentile, you got admission in Delhi University. Cuet exam is multiple choice questions ( mcqs) based exam.
Night Life
As hostel is closed for renovation, so I have not lived night life at LSR. Apart from that LSR has its gym area, canteen, Nescafe and Mother fariyad well. Also have library and reference area which closed at 4:30pm and 7: 30 pm respectively.
