The faculty which is very helpful, kind , sweet and supporting
There are numbers of scholarship opportunities available for students .these scholarships recognised merit and talent for students .fee concession students in need of financial assistance may apply on the prescribed form available at the office.next one is student aid fund
Placements of the college is very good many top companies visit the campus for placements.

Dislikes

Class size was 55 which kind of made it difficult for teachers to provide individual attention. Students who opted for language hindi were more at loss as the reading material was a little difficult to access.
Thing I didn't like was the busy and hectic schedule. It restricted our participation in various other extra curricular activities and restricted us mostly to our course structure only
The campus being in South Delhi and no other college near it, sometimes feels isolated. There is no inter college connectivity.

Beyond The Brochure: A Full Spectrum Review Of LSR

The crowd of the college is exceptional that consists of likeminded people with the passion to do something new. When you are surrounded by these type of people you also inculcate a lot of positive qualities from them.
There are a lot of clubs and societies that are actually active and will help you tons to improve your personality and will help you to be the best version of yourself. The exposure that you get from these opportunities help you a lot.
The college has a great infrastructure that provides with almost all the amenities. From nicely ventilated classrooms to Air Conditioned Library, from a cafe to an ATM you'll get a lot of facilities.

Dislikes

There is a lot of pressure of both academics and extra curricular activities which sometimes becomes difficult to handle. You constantly have to prove your worth to survive in the college.

Placement Experience:

A lot of people from this course sit for the placements and some do not. You do not have to rush for the placements immediately in your first semester. Give yourself time to explore your intersets and then make a decission and start working towards it. If you want to sit for the placements, you'll have to build a very good CV, score good marks and improve your communication skills. LSR has on of the best placement record. Companies like Mc Kinsey, BCG, EY, Delloite are among the top recruiters with an average package of ?900000-?1100000. Highest package of 2024 was of ?49 LPA.

My experience at LSR.

Its faculty members are highly qualified, passionate about teaching, and committed to mentoring students. They are really helpful
There are lawns, trees, a pond and many species of flowers in spring
LSR’s societies, such as the Women’s Development Cell, actively work toward raising awareness and addressing social issues, etc. provide a supporting space for students to grow. I love these societies

Dislikes

Infrastructure, needs to be improved. The classes are really small
students have often encountered highly inappropriate behavior by some men near the college campus

Placement Experience:

The placement are available. And LSR has one of the highest placements in DU. According to the 2023 placement report, LSR recorded the highest package of INR 44.8 LPA and an average package of INR 11.8 LPA. Some of the top recruiters include McKinsey & Co., Boston Consulting Group, Kepler Cannon, DE Shaw, Accenture, Dalberg, Trinity, Deloitte, EY, KPMG and many more.

LSR is one of the top colleges of DU and, itself a brand name. The college provides a vibrant environment to students to learn and grow and shapes them for future.
The academics of the college is really great. There are two libraries in the college that provides access to a lot of study material so That they can enhance their knowledge.
There are a lot of events happening in the college and these events make our college life fun and memorable. Get connected with different people and their culture.

Dislikes

The academic and competitive environment sometimes put burden on a students and they find it difficult to survive. They start doubting themselves and get depressed and demotivated.

The highest package of DU (49 lpa) was from the economics department of lady Shri Ram College. The average package of colleges around 6-8 lakh. The placement cell of the college is very active and maintains its relationship with companies to invite them to college. Students become eligible for placements from the first year itself. But, companies prefer 2nd and 3rd year students as they have some experience.after their UG, many students plan to pursue master degree while, other go for placements.

A peak in the magic of LSR.

One thing that is actually really goos about my college is that its really peaceful and you can uust wear anything you want like literally anything you want and you can feel still so comfortable.
The Placements ofc is the best out of all DU colleges in LSR . This year only a girl was offered a package of 49 lac and as much as I remember she was from economics department.
One more thing i love about college is the infrastructure, like the canteen is really nice (you can get some good stuff under 70 only) and the library and the reference room is huge in the college.

Dislikes

That it gets a little too much work sometimes.
And also the attendance is something i am not big fan of , you will have to maintain it .
Lack of events in the college , and how its a little strict and also that there is no AC in the auditorium even when its such a big college.

Placement Experience:

So , 3rd and 4th year students are offered placements. If you want you can sit for the placement in third year or the 4th year , that solely depends on you. In LSR , companies like McKinsey, boston consulting group(BCG), Deloitte, Trinity etc offers amazing deals. And the average package actually now stands at 1100000 something, the data i added before was previous one. And around 60% students something gets offer if you have a course like ECO hons or BCOM hons only.My plans after degree is to get a good placement in a good company.

Life at LSR as a Maths Student

Likes

The faculy is very experienced and empathetic to students' struggle. I am a maths student so our course is naturally tougher, the faculty understands this and listens to us as well.
I found a wonderful community of headstrong, independent, confident women who inspire me and teach me how to love myself every single day.
Our campus is small yet beautiful, it feels intimate and cozy especially in the wintertime.

Dislikes

We do not have enough infrastructure to support advanced coding software and we do not have much funding for science courses.

Placement Experience:

We become eligible for placements in our third year (so the fifth semester). We can sit for internships before that. Many prestigious companies visit our campus, including McKinsey, HUL, BCG, BlackStone, BlackRock etc. The highest package offered in DU history is from our college (and my course!) which was 48.9 lakh p/a by BlackStone to a student in Batch of 2024. The average package is 10.5 lakh p/a. There were 215 final placement offers. My plans after the degree are to enter the world of finance or consulting, hopefully. I am also open to higher studies or an MBA. Maths H keeps a lot of doors open.

Provide accessibility to physical challenged students in every aspect like lift facilities, resources accessible etc.

AC should we there in classes with more benches.

Placement Experience:

Placements opportunities are provided to students and in last 2-3 years LSR is one of the most highly package college. Placements happened once in a year where from every domain students are placed in big companies.

Lady shriram college for women

My college offers the best nature view it's like most nature friendly college in delhi and walking around with so much greenery around me made my experience even more wonderful.
Best senior junior relationship! There's no hierarchy everybody is just so friendly and helpful.
There's just so many opportunities to grow and learn! There are so many societies maybe around 60 smth which makes it easier for the students to follow their passion.

Dislikes

There's not much to tell but the long hours of college! There are like 7 subjects and it's very busy in college but still it's fun as we get to interact with others.
I personally don't like some professors. Their teaching methods are very difficult to understand.
The college don't provide hostel facilities and it's so costly around the college area.

Placement Experience:

Lsr highest package is 44-45 LPA and it's average package is 11 LPA. Although there's not 100 percent placement but only lsr tag can also offer many opportunity in other fields or work. One can go for business or for professional course like CA, CS, etc or competition exams.

LSR makes girl a women!!

If one has to learn stress management, time management and various other life lessons then there no better place than LSR.
It has always been the riches girls college as top students of the country are the ones who study here.
Many top personalities have been a part of LSR and they also keep donating to ensure that LSR infrastructure is always maintained.

Dislikes

Classes are too hectic and to unleash oneself it needs time which is quite difficult to find at LSR.

Internships in government firms becomes mandatory for our course. Heath and mental coaching is also a part of our syllabus so such companies who deals in that are the ones who hired us. Since batch size is quite small, getting jobs from LSR campus is also not tough. Average jobs offered are of 6 LPA.

Placements are very good in my clg according to courses and skills. Eco hons get a lot of Placements opportunities whereas in other department if one has done good internships , a good cgpa and skillset to match company then there is a chance. 50 lpa is offered highest.

What to expect: with PG in DU

Its faculty members are highly qualified, passionate about teaching, and committed to mentoring students. They are really helpful.
LSR’s societies, such as the Women’s Development Cell, actively work toward raising awareness and addressing social issues, etc. provide a supporting space for students to grow. I love these societies.
It also has created a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment that encourages students to build confidence and leadership skills. To see women leading everything here is highly encouraging for me.

Dislikes

The first day when I went there, I kind of felt there was lack of staff because I couldn't get any help with my forms. Later on of course I realised that was the case only on that day.

Course Curriculum Overview:

With this course you get an advanced understanding of political systems, governance models, ideologies and power structures, etc. It prepares you to understand the perspective of politics and political science. It is valuable in many fields from academia to public policy making.
