Currently my college doesnt offer direct campus placements for all courses. These events help us builf soft skills, learn about corporate expectations, and explore internship opportunities. Students usually start preparing for placements and internships from the 4th and 5th semester. While some reputed companies like EY, diloitte, KPMG etc.

We are eligible for placements when our placements cell is convinced that we are ready as 3rd and 4th semesters we have proper trainings and all. So, that is how we get opportunities, as the studnets who skip trainings dont get the chance for placements first, they are given the last shot.

Students who're in their 5th semester gets eligible for campus placements The high top notch companies that visit our college include Accenture, Deloitte, mc Kinsey and co, de shaw and co, zomato, Zepto etc. Highest package offered is 23.5 lacs and average is 5.6 lacs per annum I think 40% students able to make it I'm planning for giving cat in 2026! :)

bcom hons as a course is really well the subjects provided by delhi university are really insightful and beneficial. some of the subjects are even same for ca so it helps me to prepare well for it alongside

I chose this course because I am a commerce enthusiast who loves knowing about business and the corporate world. Faculty:student ratio is also 1:1. Most of the faculty is Ph.D. Exams are held twice a semester or twice a year.

Commerce subject has always been my field of interest. My 1st preference was economic honors but the cut-offs were too high to get into a good college so I choose my 2nd preference B.Com honors which is great too. Also, I am planning to go for an MBA post-graduation so I thought it was a feasible option and subject.

In the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. There are lot of recruiters visited such as Wipro,kpmg, Deloitte and many others. The highest package is offered by INR 8..1lakh annually and many profiles are offered such as auditer, business development manager, financial analyst etc.

The placements are mainly for 3rd-year students and they offered jobs after clearing interviews rounds. Due to the pandemic, the whole process of selection was done online. Companies like Wipro, Byjus, and many companies offer jobs in our college. I plan to pursue law after the degree. The package offered by the company range from 3 lakh per annum to 7 - 8 lakh per annum.

The average packages include 3 to 4 lakh per annum and the highest packages also include like Wipro offered which was 5 to 6 lakh per annum as compared to the previous year this year after the pending make the companies are taking very fewer students as the thing that the students gave the exams online so there are taking a very less number of students having the greater percentage of marks based on their previous performance. My plans after getting this degree would be to look for a job from the placement cell as I am applying for a job at the placement cell of my college right now also.

I always want to take admission in Delhi University. But to be honest I wanted a north campus college and as per my best four percentage I wasn't able to get admission in any of north campus college. Firstly I took admission in Lakshmi bai college than in the fifth cut off I got my KAMALA NEHRU COLLEGE. I wasn't satisfied with my college. And for 1 year I was wondering I am somewhere stuck in this college. However I saw feats and extracurricular activities of my college and took part in it. Now I think it's not that bad. Now I'm happy here.
