the environment of college is very peaceful since it is a girls college very friendly and welcoming people are there. you will nt feel alone there
the connectivity to metro is really good take sharing auto to green park in 20 only
the greenery is really nice helps with the gloomy weather

NO AIRCONDITIONER except computer lab and new seminar room even audi doesnt have ac really difficult to survive in summers e
very small compared to other delhi university college
gets way too boring sometimes because only girlss

bcom hons as a course is really well the subjects provided by delhi university are really insightful and beneficial. some of the subjects are even same for ca so it helps me to prepare well for it alongside

the internships are offered but i havent seen much of it i do not think so there is any great oppurtunity u can get in the college you have to look outside the college for these opportunities and stuff

financial aid is available for students in this college irrespective of caste/ews. the fees remains the same 17150 for bcom hons. the fees may differ according to course and years you'd like to be enrolled for.

Campus Life

the library is really good and vast, there are 50+ socities which is really great as there are alot of options for you. You have to balance yur academics as well as the socities to be good at both. there is a huge ground and basketball court along with great faculty of physical education

Admission

i only applied for all top north campus and south campus colleges, but due to high cutoffs for general category i wasnt able to make it, i scored 722 in cuet. due to the mismanagement i wasnt able to perform really well in english. i will suggest to be prepared for anything in cuet. be prepared for the hardest and lenghtiest paper

Faculty

faculty is mid as far as i have seen they do not really know what they are teaching so bettter not rely on them for exams. if you study well by yourself and pereparing for ca/cs like exams bcom is noting in front of that. do not expect anything from teachers

Life at Deshbandhu

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is amazing, bringing many internship and pre-placement offer opportunities to the students. The average package being between 5-7 LPA, and the highest package grossing over 20 LPA. Around 60-80% of the students get placements. If i don't get a placement, I'd presue higher studies.

From 5 semester students are eligible for college placements and my college placements on a scale of 10 is 6 . It's good compare to other colleges also name of the companies that visited in our college are DE SHAW &CO, EY, AMAZON and many more. Highest package offered last year was 23 LPA and average package is 7 LPA . 45% of students get placements from campus my plans after getting my degree is to give MBA exam

I only applied for du and got admission in knc and I didn't chose this college du alloted me this on the basis of my cuet marks and 12th percentage No i didn't get any rejection from any of the colleges I applied but I didn't able to make it there because of my less cuet marks and high cutoff You can get admission by giving cuet the eligibility is 12th passed with 50% or above and the cutoff for north campus colleges goes from 750-800 and for south it's 650-700...Read More

So, I had applied for various colleges during my cuet form submission. But my main focus was to get Lady Shri Ram College. But unfortunately, my numbers were a little less to get into the college. My second option was Allahabad University. It is also a great University but the environment there didn't seem very good to me. I was offered 3 seats there in different courses but I chose DU over AU because of the exposure it proves. The admission process of my college was very easy and hassle free. All I had to do is fill the CSAS form of Delhi University and select preferences based on my liking. And we get allocated the college which we keep above in the preference sheet keeping our marks and catagory in consideration....Read More
