- Small but beautiful campus that has seen some of the most meaningful and interesting debates.
- Infrastructure was remodeled recently and therefor our classrooms and auditoriums are now air-conditioned which most colleges of DU doesnt have.
- Our course has optional electives link senior accounting, taxation and banking to choos from.
Dislikes
- Campus is good but still smaller than many and i wish it was as big as other colleges of DU.
Course Curriculum Overview
B.Com Hons is the course i fell wher DU has nailed it. Our of every course that DU has B.Com Hons is one course which gets filles first. Thats why the cut-off is always high for B.com hons. Our exams are like internals first in the second month of session and the after 2 months of that final semester's exam. We have too many breaks after each exam and that i feel if can be revised.
Internships Opportunities
NTPC to Bhel and likewise many engineering companies and some banking houses not just offer us internships but comfortable stay and stiend too as i worked as an intern in NTPC Bharuch and must say apart from learning, a lot more thins too were provided to us.
Placement Experience
We are eligible for placements when our placements cell is convinced that we are ready as 3rd and 4th semesters we have proper trainings and all. So, that is how we get opportunities, as the studnets who skip trainings dont get the chance for placements first, they are given the last shot.
Fees and Financial Aid
KNC is not among the top level colleges of DU but still is a fine college. The fees s same as or nearby college Gargi or for like any other colleges which falls under DU. Some colleges like Hindu and DDUC and others charges double of what KNC charges as we pay just 15k a year for B.Com (Hons).
Campus Life
Campus is small in arra but we have a huge library which is a 3 storied building. We also have a playground which has a good basketall court and football goal posts. Our annual fest is named ULLAS and we have many die for societies like Wide Angle which is a film making society. An alumni association called Madhur Smriti. Many dancr societies and i am also a part of of one which is western dance society called Enigma.
Admission
I obviously wanted top draw colleges like SRCC or the Hindu and others but in DU its your CUET cut-off that helps in getting admissions. For too colleges you need top score and our of 800 the cut-off of tier 1 colleges ends at 775 or so. At KNC its 725 and because i had this much, i am studying here.
Faculty
Our students have like the best kf relationship with our teachers and its because faculties have initiated that. I can name 5 whom i like but there ain't a single faculty for whom i can say i dislike. So, to say whom i like the most its Basu Sir, whk teaches s accounting which is the core subject of accountancy.
Night Life
Due to location at a commercial centre we have cafes like BRB, Diggins and stuff like that. I am fond of cakes and Uncles cake and Bakes is my top priority place. Hauz Khas Village and Safdarjung enclave are also quite nearby.
