Likes

I liked the way the college us organised and its arrangements
I also like the extra cirrucular activities it arranges for the student
The best part about the placement cell is the seminars it arranges

Dislikes

The canteen is not very hygienic and it needs improvement
The break is really chaotic and there are alot of students at the canteen
The classrooms aren’t vacate and there is a overlap in the time table

Course Curriculum Overview

Commerce subject has always been my field of interest. My 1st preference was economic honors but the cut-offs were too high to get into a good college so I choose my 2nd preference B.Com honors which is great too. Also, I am planning to go for an MBA post-graduation so I thought it was a feasible option and subject.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 11000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is like this: In the 1st year it was around 11000 And in the second year it was 9000, And third year too around 9000. I have no idea about the scholarship basis as I didn't apply for it and there is a very good placement cell for the jobs at Kamala Nehru college.

Campus Life

The annual fest of Kamala Nehru College is "Ullaas" it happens every year in Feb.-March. This year it's happening on the 25th-26th of march. There is a society called NSS for the sports in the college in which there are various sports like basketball football etc. and for extracurricular, there are various societies in the commerce department.

Admission

It was quite hectic but good overall. The eligibility for B.Com Hons is 12th passed with good percent marks, and the application form is on the DU website and the application fee is around 200. No improvement is needed. I have availed of no reservations.

Life at Deshbandhu

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is amazing, bringing many internship and pre-placement offer opportunities to the students. The average package being between 5-7 LPA, and the highest package grossing over 20 LPA. Around 60-80% of the students get placements. If i don't get a placement, I'd presue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

From 5 semester students are eligible for college placements and my college placements on a scale of 10 is 6 . It's good compare to other colleges also name of the companies that visited in our college are DE SHAW &CO, EY, AMAZON and many more. Highest package offered last year was 23 LPA and average package is 7 LPA . 45% of students get placements from campus my plans after getting my degree is to give MBA exam

In short you should have 0 to 10 percent expectations from placement cell there is almost zero or close to 10 percent or less placement and internship opportunities. I only applied for du and got admission in knc and I didn't chose this college du alloted me this on the basis of my cuet marks and 12th percentage No i didn't get any rejection from any of the colleges I applied but I didn't able to make it there because of my less cuet marks and high cutoff You can get admission by giving cuet the eligibility is 12th passed with 50% or above and the cutoff for north campus colleges goes from 750-800 and for south it's 650-700...Read More

REVIEW ON KNC (DU)

So, I had applied for various colleges during my cuet form submission. But my main focus was to get Lady Shri Ram College. But unfortunately, my numbers were a little less to get into the college. My second option was Allahabad University. It is also a great University but the environment there didn't seem very good to me. I was offered 3 seats there in different courses but I chose DU over AU because of the exposure it proves. The admission process of my college was very easy and hassle free. All I had to do is fill the CSAS form of Delhi University and select preferences based on my liking. And we get allocated the college which we keep above in the preference sheet keeping our marks and catagory in consideration....Read More
