Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to choose this course as it has a holistic curriculum and gives various opportunities after graduation. We can have more practical based teaching instead of theoritical so that it can become easier to grasp

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 20000, fees differ for different categories. Highest for general(20000) and lower for st,sc etc. there are different scholarships for eligible students. available for all categories be it general st sc ews or km. the opportunity is open for all

Campus Life

The campus provides good exposure being it societies, cultural events. Nexus is one of the bests fests over du circuit having great footfall. The event has various artists and is really fun. Many student led clubs like 180dc placement cell etc

Admission

I was allocated this college in the cuet process, it was my 6th preference. My first priority being Srcc. i had scored 764/800 and srcc required 782/800 the admission process is cuet examination and the du csas phase afterwards

Faculty

There are two main exams, after each semester which are the end semester exams in december and may redpectively. faculty to student ratio is good and faculty is really helpful and easily approachable.

Night Life

I am a day scholar, so dont spend the night time around the college. But opposite the college we have satyaniketan where all the pgs and flats are. Many shops and eateries are present there. It is buzzing around with students always

The companies which comes to college are Kpmg, dillote, Ey, bain and company etc. The average package is around 9 lakh and the highest package is 36.5 lakh.

Students of 3rd semester become eligible for campus placements. Companies like pwc, EY, deloitte has visited our campus and offered packages according to the competency of student. 35-40% people do get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to move abroad and pursue ACCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is really relevant and comprehensive. For eg in bcom we study business law, company law, Human Resources management, marketing, financial and corporate accounting, finance, busines maths, stats, income tax, cost accounting, economics as ge so all these are really great well structureda and do have real life practical applications therefore i think my course is really very well aligned and comprehensive in terms of the business world.

The beauty of college

I chose this college over other colleges primarily for the brand value and image it carries and also because of how it promotes inclusion . I see and interact with different people from different backgrounds everyday, one from punjab one from kashmir one for bihar everyone carrying different stories different pasts and different experiences , i feel this is what makes this college stand out .
