Faculties - very supportive and helpful. the way each faculty teaches the students was v much better than expected.
The fee structure is low enough to ensure inclusivity, and provide quality education to everyone. on top of that scholarships are also provided based on merit and socioeconomic criterias to further aid the students in financial and monetary aspects.
Eligibility for the course was good marks in class 12th and the student must've studied commerce in class 12th you can find application forms on the du official website.

Dislikes

Placement is also not very good but the Return on investment is good
Management is also not good like sometimes we don't know to select course or how to give back exams.
no shops nearby college and is at an isolated place from market

Lets go inside DCAC

Likes

Social life in the societies are very interesting you meet new people or we can say new minds.
The interaction with professors gives you new ways and also help in you career choosing
Taking part in different treasure hunts and winning rewards

Dislikes

Monkeys are the most annoying thing there you always have to check were are you going to hang out.
Few people are alwasy there who are annoying but just ignore them my best advise.

The placement cell is very helpful and very supportive if you join some societies and find the opportunity to visit different offices and if you are lucky you can have an offer in your hand one of my batchmate got placed in KPMG in 2nd semester itself. For actual process starts in 5 semesters before final exam and it is a very smooth process with the help of facilities and the people of the placement cell . alomost everyone got the opportunity who wants to get a job but some who wants to go for further studies or those who who wants to go for civil services are the left one only. After getting my degree I was interested in masters so I persued masters and doing my masters right now.

The Life in Delhi University - A Fresher's Perspective

the college offers a great diversity of people, thus providing an inclusive enriching experience, wherein one gets to meet newer people, learn from thier ideas, cultures and practices. thus, in an overall respect, an inclusive climate is maintained..
the course offered is diverse and yet to the pount in the aspect that it doesnt deviate alot from the main concepts, while ensuring that the attention and mind of the student is grasped. the written knowledge is also provided in a fun and amazing way
the fee structure is low enough to ensure inclusivity, and provide quality education to everyone. on top of that scholarships are also provided based on merit and socioeconomic criterias to further aid the students in financial and monetary aspects.

Dislikes

the infrastructure is rustic and appears often to be on the brink of demolishing, a little renovation wouldnt hurt. while the rustic aspect does provide it a historical aspect and aesthetic, which is often fun to be in.
the absence of a class often becomes an issue when students are not intimidated about it before hand, since qlot of us transverse long distance to reach college, it often turns out to be a form of lack of productivity in a manner.
increase in the number of official college fests from annual to biannual is thebonly other dislike that crosses my mind at the moment. this too is a hyperbolation, lest apart delhi university is a fun and amazing place to spend a quality academictime

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is diverse in the aspect that it is enriching and informative, without diverting much into unecessary passages. the student faculty ratio is the desirable 1:40, which ensures proper attention to each student. the teaching methods employed and the readings are perfect for the course, and a weekly timeframe of the syllabus is also provided to ensure that the student is well aware of the progress. the term exams are held in form of end sem exams that are tad bit difficult but can be passed with good marks if one has revised and studied by dedicating even meagre 30 minutes a day to each subject.

The DCAC Review

Likes

The crowd in the Delhi University colleges is diverse
The faculty of the colleges are qualified and have their unique way of teaching
The fests and events in DU are one of the best.

Dislikes

The location of some colleges is far from metro stations which make them a little difficult to find when visiting for the first time
Some colleges do not have hostels which is a bit of a problem from students that are from different states

Placement Experience:

Companies like KPMG, EY, Wipro, etc. visit the college campus for hiring students. The placement cells helps students know about various internships for which students can apply to. The placement cell also organises various seminars and workshops which can help students gain information about new career paths that they may not know about or get tips by people who have already made a career in the field that the students are interested in.

A Good College with Nice Faculty

Likes

Faculty- There is very good faculty in the college
Course- I found Economics hons course very interesting
College Canteen - the food in the college canteen is very good

Dislikes

Infrastructure- College infrastructure is not that good

Placement Experience:

Students of the third year e.g Sixth semester are eligible for placement drives. Various companies have visited the college premises which includes Deloitte, Google, Microsoft. Highest package was 12 lakh per annum Average was 5 lakh per annum

Delhi College Of Arts And Commerce - A Campus Filled With A Plethora Of Emotions

Likes

Campus Life is Amazing At DCAC, DU. Probably the best campus Life in the whole UOD.
Library - The library of this college makes it a great place to be at.
Societies - The societies of this college are very active.

Dislikes

Campus Size, The campus is very small and measures around at 5 Acres.
Some Faculty Members - Some professors are really hard to deal with and they trouble you a lot regarding assignments, classes and studies.

Placement Experience:

As I said before, the placements are very low in this college. Various companies visit our college every year and recruit the students of 3rd year mostly. The average package goes around at 5 LPA. I think most of the students do not get a placement here. But they can pursue some other course along with the college to ensure a successful career. For example - Civil Services, Professional Courses etc.

Good place always worth

Crowd of the college I find best and osm during most of the day
Faculties are teaching very well in the class
Seniors are very friendly and helpful with our problems

Dislikes

Our college has uncertain in conducting of classe
The college has small playground and no park at all
The freshers part individual and common was no conducted well

I opted this course because I want to pursue upsc and secondly I belong to arts stream.faculty to students ratio 1:40.most of professor have pursued mphil and their teaching methods are osm. Exam are currently going on , it seems that they would be tough as told by other faculty.

The faculty as well as drinking water system are fantastic.l
The library of the college are large and spacious
The senior of the college are very caring .

Dislikes

The college has very small ground for football and cricket
The campus of the college are relatively very small.it is around 5acres only
The metro station from the college is very far.

In order to pursue upsc ,I had opted this course.faculty to student ratio is 1:35. Most Of the professor have done mphil. The term exams are going on and the class test conducted so far seems to be not of that level of difficult as thought

Truth over lies about DCAC

Likes

I liked the crowd especially it's the only of the college that I've looked forward from the starting
And offcourse professors or staff members all were so nice except some
And there's a library I've spent many time iatthis place

Dislikes

Disliked the infrastructure, literally old buildings they can literally fall anytime
Last thing would be the fest, no fest I've ever seen in this college in 3 years that's better than other colleges
And there's nothing around our college, literally nothing constructive area and monkeys

The curriculum was all the same as the whole university & and the student ratio was kind of like 2-3 boys on a single girl student in college, the faculty members or professors were really intelligent and they were good enough to teach you anything related to our course.

Transparent review about DCAC

Likes

Library provides a variety of books through which you can take a lot of knowledge and open the doors of opportunities.
Administration of the college is also good.
Faculty is highly expertised in their respective fields.

Dislikes

Canteen is not so big. There is no proper seating arrangements. Sometimes the seating space is not enough there.
Infrastructure of DCAC is not good. It needs to be improvised.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty members are so good and supportive. BCom(Hons) is one of the most prominent courses offered by DU. The faculty is highly educated here. The student ratio- there are 120 students in BCom(Hons) divided into two sections. There are about 15-20 faculty members in the Commerce department. Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. Holders and have expertise in their field. Semester exams are held every 6 months and conducted by the University itself. The exam level for all the colleges of DU is the same.

There environment and crowd ..and it's Library
It's ground and verious sports facilities
And it's having its own dcac book store .

Dislikes

It's canteen it is not good ...it's good is very bad
The college is not so much big ..as I thinks.
I have nearest all the area of government that why no dj was allowed

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because of my interest and the faculty of history is in the top 5 among du colleges. qualification of faulty was good as they were have completed or they do the PhDs there were 4 to 6 months for each term exams and it was not so much difficult to pass.

Here is a brief review of the Delhi College of Arts and Commerce.

It has a good infrastructure. The library is fully automated. There are over 56538 books. You will also have access to e-resources.
The sports facilities offered are quite good. There are well-maintained and specious sports courts for Basket Ball, Volleyball, Football, etc.
The faculty at DCAC is quite good. They are well-qualified and have years of experience in teaching.
BROADWAY is the placement cell of DCAC. It works with the aim of establishing a good institute and industry interface. Students of the institute have been placed in major companies like E&Y, L&T, ICICI Prudential, Genpact, etc.
There are many prestigious student development societies like ENACTUS DCAC, VYAPAAR, LEHAR, Clicks - the photography club.
