Delhi College of Arts and Commerce: 1 Answered Question

How is Delhi College of Arts and Commerce for economics honours?

Shruti SharmaBachelor in Economics & English Literature, University of Delhi.

Overall, DCAC is a quintessential and fairly standard college. However, if you are a new student looking for admission, this is a good college to consider. If you only have one option, go with DCAC.

The faculty members determine whether or not a department is worthwhile. Faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. Students have always provided positive feedback, particularly for the Economics Department. Another factor to consider is your sincerity, seriousness, consistency, and punctuality with regard to the subject, as well as your desire to become enlightened.

Students of other departments have also paid the same weather they are of bcom honours of ba journalism every student paid same amount but people of ews quota and PWD quota pay less their fees are less as compared to every normal student I don't know the exact amount they pay but their fees are less per semester. Except fees college charge no extra money literally nothing money from you no extra fee for canteen or Library or anything, it's been more than 3 months of me joining and studying in this college only extra money I paid was for my society of economics group of college and nothing else and it was only 250 rupees for fest of economics department and rather than that place you will have to pay is semester exam charge 1310 to give semester exam

Fees and Financial Aid:

Fee hike policies vary across institutions and are often influenced by factors such as inflation, operating costs, and investments in facilities and faculty. It's essential to consider the reasons behind fee increases and whether they align with improvements in educational quality. Additionally, students should be informed about financial aid options and scholarship opportunities to help mitigate the overall cost of education. Understanding the rationale behind fee adjustments can foster transparency and collaboration between institutions and students.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee structure is very reasonable and the fees of reserved candidates are even lower than the general. I don't have enough knowledge about the scholarship but the job opportunities and internships are available most of the time with or without a stipend. The placement cell of the college is very active and also updates all the courses with the internship programs available for us.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees structure is good, the fee structure is not too high. And the Cost to study is not so high. Anyone can afford it. I do not know anything about scholarships As I did not apply for any. The placement cell of the college is good, it has placement records by leading MNCs. Students in their last year can apply for the placement. KPMG, EY, Teach For India are some of the companies that come to our college for placement. The Highest package students get is approx. 9 lakhs per annum. 70% of the students got placement from our course.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Fees in DCAC are very low like those of other government colleges. It was hardly more than 8000 per year. I didn't witness any hike in fees during my college years. The cost to study in DCAC is not very high. However, since there is no hostel facility for students, the living cost in Delhi could be higher for outsiders. Access to the library and availability of readings at college stationery further makes it cost-friendly. The college is at walking distance from the metro station and bust stop, which reduces the travel cost as well. The students can get various scholarships that are available from the government's side. The college in specific doesn't provide any financial assistance. As far as campus placement is considered, there is a placement cell in DCAC. Various companies such as EY, KPMG, TresVista, etc. hire students on campus. However, the average placement is around 4L only as the college doesn't offer postgraduate courses and most students go for higher studies rather taking up jobs.

The Eco Hons course fee is 8495. I think this is very feasible and less as compared to other colleges. The placement cells offer good internship opportunities and the societies of this college are also very good. The job offers in DCAC is also famous and reputed companies come to provide placements.
