Faculties - very supportive and helpful. the way each faculty teaches the students was v much better than expected.
The fee structure is low enough to ensure inclusivity, and provide quality education to everyone. on top of that scholarships are also provided based on merit and socioeconomic criterias to further aid the students in financial and monetary aspects.
Eligibility for the course was good marks in class 12th and the student must've studied commerce in class 12th you can find application forms on the du official website.

Dislikes

Placement is also not very good but the Return on investment is good
Management is also not good like sometimes we don't know to select course or how to give back exams.
no shops nearby college and is at an isolated place from market

All about Delhi college of arts and commerce

Likes

College crowd is genuine and nice. No harmful elements in the students.
Faculty of English honours is really kind and helpful.
Mentors have been provided to students for their personal growth as well

Dislikes

Campus is a bit smaller in comparison to other DU colleges

Placement Experience:

Placements are provided to students every year. Even internships are also provided to students by the placement cell. Many of my friends got intership through the place cell interships. You can apply for internship from 2 semester onwards

Short and Crisp

Likes

Has good faculties and professors ...they teach in very good way.
Classes are so regular ....very rarely cancelled
Seminars and lectures are held time to time.

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the college ...The college is really small.. doesn't feel like college
Sometimes management during specific programs
Administration is not that supportive.... doesn't listen to query and doubts easily.

Likes

Pretty big college with educated teachers
Student are also educated and there behavior are also good
Some of the students are treasure of skills

Dislikes

Some time there are much more crowd and noises come from outside

Honest review of Pros and Cons of DCAC

Likes

Well educated and knowledgeable professors
In-depth knowledge of all elected courses
Regular visits by renowned persons and public figures

Dislikes

Campus is smaller than expected, but can accomodate all students well
Bathrooms are of old style and need some repair
It is placed in a corner street of Chanakyapuri

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral).My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

DCAC : ACCORDING TO A 1ST YEAR

Likes

playground is not so big but people are usually there to play a sport so its good
crowd is really nice seniors as well as classmates are really polite and helpful
teachers are really learned and do ask if we have any queries

Dislikes

no proper parking area for students to park their vehicles
campus is really small as well as far away from metro station
no shops nearby college and is at an isolated place from market

Placement Experience:

i really dont know about the placements as i am a 2nd yearstudent only there were few internships but i dont know about the placements from my experiance but i have heard from seniors that the pakage is neither so bad nor so good according to the course we are persuing and as an under graduate course it pays fairly

DCAC - A small and blissful world.

Likes

The Department of History was a one wher the academics was at the core .
Teachers of the department are friendly and lenient to an extent leat you complete your assignments on time
The library is good and spacious with a large inventory of books that will help the students to study

Dislikes

The college is small in size with just one main building and a annexe
The size of the playing field is pretty small. Good enough only for true academicians

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of CBCS LOCF is set on a long-term model. With the penultimate batch to get passed out on the old educational policy, the course is well set to put the students in a manner so that they can get their noses on from in competitive examinations like CUET PG and UGC NET. Thus the syllabus is apt and any student who is willing to pursue their career is well set to get placed into a good University for further studies.

Faculties - very supportive and helpful. The way each faculty teaches the students was v much better than expected.
Crowd- I liked the crowd on the very first day I visited my college that made me very much comfortable.
Campus- the campus is also more than average.

Dislikes

Cleanliness- there is not appropriate cleanliness
Canteen- the canteen food is not upto the mark on basis of hygeine.
No smart teaching - none of the teachers uses smartboards and projectors.

Placement Experience:

There are many placements after the third year or in the third year in the college whose avg package runs around 6 lpa to 7 lpa and internships fair are also conducted regularly every year to provide internships to the students. The companies visit the campus and organise the fair to provide students with placements and internships.

Likes

The teachers are very nice and kind for the students.
The teacher always have kind nature towards the students
Administration is very good and the atmosphere of the college is also very nice and good.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not that good it can be better.
Facilities should be more better like toilets and water tanks in the college.

College Was good But first good thing is COLLEGE Environment and college thinkness towards greenery

Small campus is main disliked thing in college

During Old Education Policy we gave only 4 Exam Ge Dsc But new Education Policy also burden Student Teacher and Government say that grown student Skill Ability Value But that is very Different from Motive

Here is a brief review of the Delhi College of Arts and Commerce.

It has a good infrastructure. The library is fully automated. There are over 56538 books. You will also have access to e-resources.
The sports facilities offered are quite good. There are well-maintained and specious sports courts for Basket Ball, Volleyball, Football, etc.
The faculty at DCAC is quite good. They are well-qualified and have years of experience in teaching.
BROADWAY is the placement cell of DCAC. It works with the aim of establishing a good institute and industry interface. Students of the institute have been placed in major companies like E&Y, L&T, ICICI Prudential, Genpact, etc.
There are many prestigious student development societies like ENACTUS DCAC, VYAPAAR, LEHAR, Clicks - the photography club.
