Course Curriculum Overview
Honestly I was very confused as to which course should I go for but in the end I chose B.com (hons.). The teaching faculty of DCAC is highly qualified and most teachers use a practical approach which includes real life examples which helps students to relate and understand concepts better. The first half of the course ended in a year with each semester of 4 months and the later half of the course is going on with each semester of 5-6 months. The semester exams are moderately difficult but if one just wants to pass the exams it's easy.
Internships Opportunities
Every year, the society "Vyapaar" organizes an internship fair. That festival attracts a large number of businesses. I haven't done any internships since college, so I'm unfamiliar with the firms and opportunities available. You might also look for internships outside of college.
Placement Experience
Companies like KPMG, EY, Wipro, etc. visit the college campus for hiring students. The placement cells helps students know about various internships for which students can apply to. The placement cell also organises various seminars and workshops which can help students gain information about new career paths that they may not know about or get tips by people who have already made a career in the field that the students are interested in.
Fees and Financial Aid
The average fee hike was around Rs.500. The tuition fee is affordable but there are a few scholarships that one can get on campus . One can get internships through the placement cell and earn stipend enough to cover the course fees.
Campus Life
The societies of the college organise fests every year which are fun to attend. These fests happen throughout the year. The classrooms include a white board and projectors but most teaching happens using the white board. The college ground is small compared to other colleges but enough to play cricket. The ground has practice nets and a basket ball court. Also there is gym room in the college. One can also play indoor games like chess, carrom, table tennis.
Admission
The eligibility for the college was through the percentage of marks in class 12th but is now on the basis of marks received in the cuet exam. The application form for colleges in Delhi University was through the ug admission portal.
