Placements are generally good in this college. Majority of the students gets placed just after the sixth semester in reputed companies with good packages and ofcourse better than many colleges of west bengal and out. Average package for CSE ECE and IT stream is nearly about 6 lakhs apart from this highest package for this year is being offered by AMAZON that is of 68 LPA secured by 4 students and rest 80% of the students got placed and the placements will continue to eigth semester until 100% or more than 95% students get placed. Students also gets a perk if they pursue their Mtech degree from here after B tech or pursue MBA from this college.

The placement of our campus is mid. Before entering the college their will be a lot of myth and the placements will be more glorified. But overall it's average. A lot of students recieve package above 50 lakhs but those are mostly gained off campus. On campus placements vary from 5 to 8 lakhs per annum.

Employment scenario is good before 2 years, the placement is really incredible at that time but in current scenario, the last year and the present years is not good at all. So i need to improve my skills.

After 4 semester every one becomes eligible for campus placement. I don't know there name. Ther are lots of candidates Highest package is 45000rs and lowest is 15000rs. More than 45 percent have gained ther first job. I will apply for a job.

The placement us our college is not really very good as only a very few students manage to get placed in our college. To be eligible for placements you will need to have a minimum of 75 percent attandance in all the semester and also maintain a cgpa of 7plus. Apart for that you also need to have 60 percent marks in your class X and xii boards examination.

The course curriculum is directly relevant forever academics. The teachers are taking exams time to time to maintain our studies along with the course therefore we can say that our college and faculties are two helpful to us

Siliguri institute of technology has a history of succession placements. The average package is around 4-5LPA per annum and the highest is 27 LPA per annum. As of 2024 several renowned companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Amazon, Virtusa, EY have visited the campus for placements. The no. of students who have been placed are around 220+. The placement is available from 4th year onwards. Students juggle between placement preparation and academics.

This courses is very good. And I love it very well. There has many facilities like instruments ,good teacher and many others things.there has good placement and good faculties .our alumini are very good.

After 4th semester they provide us internships. They prepare us for all sort of things. But at the end ofcourse the interviews are all in the hand of student and they do have companies in contact such as TCS Wipro and etc. The cgpa of 8+ is required for employment and the college do look after us to make it happen.

My course is information technology in B.Tech graduation. The curriculum is decided by MAKAUT,WEST BENGAL as our college is affiliated to it. As for academic pursuits one will find fair amount of knowledge. One can even apply it for further research. It should shorten the 3hr long lab classes to short span classes during regular days of the week rather than just two days. i wont complain about the examination schedule of this college. They take timley examinations both on theory and practical as predecessors to the semester exams. So the students are busy throughout the semester time in their academic pursuits.
