Course Curriculum Overview

This courses is very good. And I love it very well. There has many facilities like instruments ,good teacher and many others things.there has good placement and good faculties .our alumini are very good.

Internships Opportunities

Many company come there for internship but we don't know the name because we are 1st year .I know that the tcs company come there for placement and internship and stipend. I don't know about our upcoming projects.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a normal boy.I want to study more and get a good placement in government.I love electrical so I choose it and this is a good college.I love to play chess and cricket any time.Thid is my dream to read in a government college.

Campus Life

Our campus life is very good .we have to respect our seniors and we can smoke there.The seniors are very good and friendly with us.there is no ragging maintain but we hate to maintain some decipline in campus.

Hostel Facilities

We live 4 people in a single room.there are good facilities and security.The meal are average .they took very less money .we have to apply it on online and it is very affordable.They gave 2 time meal.

Hostel Fee: INR 24000 per year

Admission

This is good college.there has good placement any good alumini interaction .and also it is one of the best government engineering college in west bengal.we have to clear the wbjje examination to eligible for this college.

Faculty

The faculty members are very good ???? and strict.we are provided many things to learn. The exam system is very much and I don't cover it for big syllabus.The exam pattern is good for us.Now we have to study well.

Night Life

I live in the hostel and there are very funny nightlife . We play carrom and many other things there.we have study for 2 hours in night .many times we go to market and cenima hall in night.this is very nice .

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

Placement Experience:

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.

KGEC REVIEW

I gave West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination in 2024. I scored a decent rank but due to high cut off of this year I didn't get good branch in Jadavpur University.
